Last year I was sitting in the house when I noticed the lighting inside had changed and was different looking. Well, my curiosity got the better of me so I went to take a look. When I saw these strange cloud formations I ran back in to grab my camera. Thank goodness the batteries were working. I went back outside and started taking these shots. They were strange and different and yet pretty. I am glad I was able to get these because they were gone as fast as they came.

I love to look up at the sky and clouds. When I was a child I would lie on the ground and look up at the clouds and pretend they were different objects or animals. Sometimes they wouldn't look like anything except a cloud.  Have you ever done that? I bet a lot of you have.
Please be sure and join Susan at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ for Outdoor Wednesday and check out the other participant's entries this week.

Be sure and let me know you came by and tell me what formations have you seen in the clouds.

Y'all come back now,

KIM

  2. Hi Kim these are amazing! I don't know if I have ever seen clouds in this formation before. I sit in my living room and look at the clouds floating by, I have seen lots of things in the clouds but I have quite an imagination. Nothing like cloud watching. We use to do it on long trips. It is a shame that they have tvs in cars for kids not, What ever happened to using ones imagaination. Love the Pictures, kathysue

  9. Hi Kim, Thanks for visiting me the other day and leaving the comment on the surprise birth of my twins, so many years ago.

You have a beautiful home. I really like the green room in the mosaic. I will have to come back (now a follower) and read up on that.

I have a giveaway that just started tonight. You may want to come take a peek.

  15. Great shots Kim! I still love to look up at the sky and watch the differing shapes of the clouds as they go by. When my boys were young we used to lie on our backs, look at the clouds and play name that shape. It is such a calming activity yet it also encourages ones imagination.

  22. Hi Kim,
I just saw your cloud post. So cool!! Last summer we were sitting outside at night. The clouds did this same thing. My neighbor and I started getting a little wierded out. We couldn't stop looking at them. They were all lined up like that.

Oh and your breakfast area is beautiful! I love the transformation. Very NICE.
