THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.......

2.28.2010

to all you wonderful bloggers who have welcomed me in to this new adventure. I cannot believe I have been blogging  for four whole weeks now, it actually feels much longer...chuckle! I never new how much work goes into putting a post together. Of course first I had to learn a lot about the computer. All I had been doing was looking at blogs and reading emails and shopping on-line. That was the extent of my computer skills. I can now do so much more, but still have much to learn. Sometimes I worry that I will hit a slump and not know what to blog about. How many of you have had that happen?? Thank goodness for the linky parties that help me figure out what to post. Those have been a lot of fun!  I look forward to joining many more.

I want to thank each and every one of you who have left me the sweetest comments and for each one who has joined as a follower. What a great community to be a part of.

I need to put out a special thank you to several bloggers who have mentioned my blog or linked my blog to their posts. Thanks to:  Kim at My Domestic Bliss , Kelly at Much To Do With Nothing, and Cass at That Old House. I am flattered that you mentioned my blog or asked if you could link something from my blog. Thank you so much. I want to also thank Heidi at Heart And Home for giving of her time to type out and email me some information I needed to help me out with some linking knowledge for my posts that I could not figure out and then I actually did right before she sent the instructions to me. She kept trying to forward this info to me all while her computer was not working correctly. How sweet was that to do all that for someone you just met in a blog. Another special thank you goes to Debbie at Debbiedoos Loves Livin In The Carolinas, for encouraging me to start a blog. We have been on-line buddies since our days on rate my space. She started her blog first and told me how much fun it is and she is so right. She is always there for any questions I may have with blogging or computer issues. She has been true a friend!

Please be sure and visit these ladies' blogs if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed.

I put together just a few pictures from my previous posts over the last four weeks into this collage.

Just to add a funny note, Mr. Savvy said I am going to get a flat butt if I keep sitting in this chair in front of the  computer all day long. Oh, what does he know! lol

I look forward to doing many more posts and to making many more bloggy friends. Thank you all!!

Y,all come back now,

KIM

Your house is such an inspiration, it gives me ideas to do better. I look forward to more of your post. Have a great day!!!

  7. What a sweet post! One of things I have loved the most about blogging is the friends I have made in so many different places. Tell Mr. Savvy you may get "flatfannyitis", but you will be in good company :)

  12. Wow..only 4 weeks and you have one of the cutest blogs in Blogville. I just love seeing your beautiful home and your lovely family. Isn't blogging so much fun!? I just love it. I've learned computer skills I thought I would NEVER learn, I've had so much inspiration from others, I've learned things that a lady MY OLDEN age should already know but didn't...and most of all...I've learned that there's more kindness and goodness in the world than I ever knew.
This was a very sweet and heartfelt post..I love it!!

  13. Good morning Kim. I love your blog and am so glad you started it because you have made your home so beautiful and love hearing what you have to say.
I blog sitting in an upholstered chair in my bedroom. I have a long way to go before I get flatfannyitis, but I might have to replace the seat cushion in my chair sooner than I thought because of the growing indentation from my behind sitting in it so long!
