This is a table in my sun room with an old chippy rustic birdhouse, cloche with bird nest and brass bird,
small mossy birdhouse, SLH lidded jar, bird coasters, and a birdie lamp with burlap shade. This tabletop is the way it looked last year for a while. The table is bamboo and I got it for a steal at an outlet mall in Myrtle Beach, S.C. a couple of years ago for thirteen dollars. I did not know where I was going to use it when I saw it, but I knew it had to come home with me and it is perfect in the sun room.
This is a collection of birdhouses on top of the t.v. cabinet in the sun room. These are in a box in storage at the moment. Some of these are from Hobby Lobby, flea markets, SLH, and a couple were gifts.
This is a small table and two extra dining room chairs that I had on this wall in the great room. The bench with pillows is in this spot now as you can see here.
Cloche with rustic candle holder, figurine, stack of books, and lamp.
This is the way the great room looked before switching the placement of the furniture. This tabletop vignette has also changed many times. The large tray with a rooster on it is now in the kitchen which I will show later. Rustic heavy cement finial, lidded SLH jar and the other is just the top and bottom with the jar removed which forms a nice finial, and a stack of books round out this vignette.
This is an old photo of my sun room. I love this little chippy shabby table. My sister was so nice to let me have this table when she got a different one for her family room. The top of this table is made from old hardwood flooring and just has such great color and patina to it. I had a cloche with a little bird under it,
a little tic-tac-toe game set with little potted trees and flower baskets as the playing pieces and a SLH tray with a red tea set and stack of my decor magazines.
Here is a mosaic of the tabletops for Mosaic Monday over at Mary's The Little Red House, and I am joining Marty over at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. Please be sure and stop by both these blogs and check out the other participants.
I want to thank everyone for leaving Miss Bailey lots of nice comments on her guest blog. She did such a great job. Be sure and let me know you stopped by. I read every comment and appreciate them so much.
Y'all come back now,
