I Think I am Exhausted

5.18.2010

How is everybody doing today? Well, I am actually exhausted. I was able to cut the grass today and now I just don't think I can do another thing. I am not exhausted from cutting the grass, but from everything combined, projects, cleaning, laundry, yard, and blogging.  I have been sitting in front of this computer way too much and am having some muscle aches on my left side. So I am going to rest a little and I want to just give you some eye candy to look at. These photos are from a design firm in Scottsdale, Arizona called Nelson Barnum Interiors. They have all these wonderful photos in their photo gallery and they are set to the most beautiful music. My sister told me about this site and knew I would enjoy these photos. Hope you do, too.

love this cozy family room

Beautiful bedroom with wallpaper and mix of fabrics and that wonderful monogrammed pillow

Look at this daybed and scrumptious pillows.

Oh, how I long for a tub like this.

Another wonderful family room. Love the large cow painting over the fireplace and those huge green urns.

Cute farmhouse style kitchen.

I love that massive framed mirror and the buffalo checked furnishings.

Oh, this French country kitchen is one of my favorites. Love those wood beams.

Beautiful foyer with the roe deer antlers on the sides of the mirror.

I spy me some red buffalo checked chairs. Tres chic!

Another wonderful tub in a cozy bathroom. Look at all those plush white towels and family mementos
on that shelving unit. I love the use of furniture in the bathroom.

There are a lot more photos if you want to check them out HERE. I love listening to the music with it.

Working on a couple of projects and should have a little one ready tomorrow.

So y'all come back now,

KIM

  49. Kim,
I love this post. I got a lot of inspiration from these photos as they are all my style too! I especially loved the mantle with the cow painting (I have one similar) and the anduze pots (I'm going to post about them next). I will check out that site.
The whole thing with blogging, I'm learning is that it can take on a life of it's own. We feel like we have to be always posting. I am going to slow down myself as it is making me tired too. Plus, I need to get my laundry done and tend to the garden--you know, things like life! haha. Take care!

  51. Hi Kim, I alway love looking at your site. Your home is lovely and your dog is adorable. I am sorry that you are feeling tired and achy lately but I wanted to encourage you to have your symptoms checked out by your doctor. It is easy to say "oh I have just been over doing it or I am just getting older". But if you are not recovering from a busy day with a few slow ones or your fatigue is getting worse it could be something else. when I started out with these symptom I was surprised by how many easily controlled conditions could cause fatigue. So get your self checked out.
