Check These Out

6.18.2010

It's that time of week again to show our thrifty treasures. I love the thrill of the hunt. When I need a break
from blogging the house I like to get some fresh air not outside it is way too hot and drive to the flea market.
I went a couple of days ago since I really really needed a break and was not disappointed in this weeks junk finds at all.

I have been wanting one of these, but did not want to pay a lot for it.

The first one I came across was priced at $24. That is just too close to Pottery Barn's prices

so I kept looking. I knew there had to be one cheaper than that.

Finally I came across some in a booth and they were all marked down from their ridiculous price tag
for a flea market to $14.00. That was better that $24.00 anyway. These were nice an old and had
a great patina to them that comes over time.

I thought I was ready to go pay and leave, but no. I spied this other item that I didn't know I needed wanted.

Yes, it just kind of grabbed me as I passed by.

Just look at all this red and white goodness.

Such great age showing.

Lots of chippiness and rust.

Yes, this glorious large metal coffee pot. I looked at it and held it and put it back. Walked off
and stopped and turned around. Pondered over it. Do I really want need  this. Where can  I use it.
Then the light went off and I grabbed it and made it to the checkout without anything else
making me look it grabbing me.

I have plans for these, but you will have to wait and see.
