Red, White, and Blue

7.02.2010

I don't have much red, white and blue patriotic items. I know, unpatriotic American. I will do better next year, I promise, but I do have a red, white and blue coastal vibe in the guest room.

Mostly Pottery Barn bedding

the vintage suit that started this bedroom

I hope everyone has a great time celebrating our freedom on the Fourth! We will be gone a couple of days and will be back Sunday afternoon. Enjoy the weekend!

Y'all come back now,

  1. Beautiful inspiration pics Kim...but I love your room the best! I adore the whole theme!

I was just getting ready to comment on your last post and this one popped up! I was going to do a similar post about thrifting and you beat me too it;)! Can you believe I have NEVER been to a thrift shop? There is supposed to be a great one in Fredercicksburg...I was going to give it a shot the next time we go...maybe! Everyone seems to find such great things while thrifting...we'll see;)!

Your dish is daarling and looks perfect in your hutch...love it!

    Happy 4th!

  6. Happy 4th, Kim! Pretty inspirational pictures! When I lived in FL, I had my guest room decorated with a patiotic theme. I kinda miss it. I love your guest room! Doing anything for this weekend? We are in Destin but cannot go to the beach b/c of the oil. Quite a big difference from last year when the beach was so crowded. Now it looks so solitary...Christine

  18. Hello Kim,

I am being terribly unpatriotic myself. I did not decorate this year since this is going to be a working weekend for me around the house. I must say, with all the pictures you posted my favorite is your guest room! I love it! My next favorite is the Coastal Living dining room with the sail boats.

    Have a fantastic weekend!

Your guest room is the best though. Love that vintage swim suit. Where ever did you find that? Really cute! I like how you framed it.

Your guest room is right up there with all of your other sources. I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't Pottery Barn!
