Frames are Hung

8.17.2010

Good morning everyone. My daughter has hung the framed initials over the changing table now and sent me these photos. She used a brown with white polka dot ribbon and the knobs were found at Hobby Lobby.
She was going to use pegs and then found these knobs instead. I think they turned out so cute.
The knobs are a pink glass.

She also found the switch cover plates at Hobby Lobby. They are the perfect pink.

Yep, she is taking after her mother! Couple of gifts that she has already received are setting on the changing table. I can't wait to see it with the pad on top so it will actually look like a changing table.
Her first shower is this weekend so maybe someone will give it to her since it is on her registry.

I am helping her best friend with the shower with just a couple of things. I ordered the cake and am making the favors. We were going to get iced cookies with a bumble bee on them (theme of the shower, B for baby), but when I realized the cost was $2 to $4 a cookie that was not going to work. I wish I was a baker, but I'm not. So instead I ordered pink m&ms and am waiting for them to be delivered. I paid extra for shipping ($17) UGH, so they would be here on time. My daughter and I went last Sunday and bought the tags and stamps for the favors and she stamped them and now I will finish them. The m&ms will be put in cellophane bags and tied with black polka dot ribbon on some and pink ric rac on others. I can't wait for the shower. This one is for her friends and the one in September is for family. That will be the big one.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Y'all come back now,

KIM

Thanks for all the comments. I really do appreciate each and every one.

  3. Oh how cute! The whole room must be adorable. I love showers. We made mini cupcakes for my niece and put one small single mum on each one and when they're all together on a layered dish they looked so pretty. Love the little m&m bags!
