This Is Where It Went

In my last post I showed you the new look on my breakfast room wall. I also told you I would show you where the apple painting went to that use to hang on that wall. My mom and sister both thought it needed to be in their favorite room in my house.

I love it leaning against the red shutters.





This is probably my favorite painting in my house. I love the old worn pine frame. I purchased
this at a flea market, that is only open one weekend a month, a few years ago. 


It has been in my great room and breakfast room and now in it's new place.
Excuse my laptop cord. This is where I usually blog from.


As you can see Mr. Bunny cannot decide where he wants to sit.

I have been making some little changes to this room and will show you these soon.

  2. I think the painting being placed in the sunroom against the shutters actually allows it to be showcased. I have different apples displays all the time but it cetainly is very appropriate for the Autumn season

  28. Hi Kim~Whoever did that painting was a good artist. I love it and the frame is perfect for the subject. Warm and wonderful. It is absolutely perfect in your sunroom. I have a feeling that would be my favorite spot in your house too!

    I REALLLLLY like that bird lamp. That is so cute with the two little birds. I have a giant rabbit that moves from area to area in my house. lol Right now it is tucked on a shelf in the guest bedroom.

  41. This little table is beautiful. I tried to picture it without the painting and I can see (in my mind) that the painting adds so much to this tabletop vignette!

  42. That's a very special painting. I love renditions of apples, pears,etc. My Mother and G'ma are both artists and this very much reminds me of something I had in my home when growing up. Just lovely.

  51. The picture really looks good there. The red shutters magnify the red of the apples. I like the bunny there! You have so many accessories! It seems I have just enough and if I move anything, there is a blank space left in that room!!!

  56. Thanks Wanda, the wall color is rosemary sprig by Benjamin Moore. It is also the same color in my kitchen/breakfast room. The light really changes the color of it.
