Yellow Snow?

11.27.2010

On the way to my sister's house for Thanksgiving we passed by an older home in town and there was the most glorious color on the ground from the fallen leaves. On the way back home we stopped so I could snap some photos and the funny thing was there was another couple already out there taking pictures with their cell phones. They were jealous that I had my camera. I asked if they knew what kind of tree it was and they said it was a ginkgo tree. Here are the shots I took. Enjoy.

Yep, yellow snow.

Have a great weekend!

  6. That's so pretty! We're having a good fall in terms of pretty fall leaves. Usually we go straight from hot to cold so fast we don't get to enjoy the in between colors.

  34. I have seen a lot of yellow trees around here too. They are so pretty. I told Caden that there were two different colored trees that I wanted to take a picture of that were on his way to school. I never could remember the camera though.

  37. Beautiful color in this photo. It is strange this year...we still have a lot of colored leaves on our shrubs and trees, and now Christmas lights on them too. Odd.
