Decking the Hutch

12.05.2010

It has been a week of decking the halls around here and I think I am just about finished. Thank goodness the house is cleaned up and we can walk without tripping over things. I am sharing my dining room hutch all dressed up for the holidays and am joining Between Naps on the Porch for the Deck the Halls Party.

I love the green background in my hutch with the red and white displays.
I used fresh greenery from our cypress trees and added some Christmas dishes, ornaments, and Santa Clauses. Now get ready for lots of photos.

You are my inspiration for wanting to paint the back of my hutch...but I hesitate to cover the wood grain...so I'm looking for alternatives that could, perhaps, be switched out on a whim. Have you any suggestions?
