The Loo is Ready For You and BTB Party #7

Yes, that's right the powder room is decorated just a little for your enjoyment while you are here visiting during the holidays. We can't overlook this room. Heck you may be in there for a while so it should be a pleasant visit don't you think?

I haven't even shown you what I did to this frame a few months ago. I just took some burlap I had and stapled it to the back.  Then I had two tole trays on there before I switched it to this. I used this sparkly swag on the front door last year.

I decided to hang it in here and just attached this bird and burlap ribbon on top.

It came with this bell on it and it jingled every time we opened the front door.

Filled this silver plate bowl with ornaments and snowflakes.

So hard to get good photos in this tiny odd shaped room.

Here's a little cardinal soap dispenser filled with my favorite hand soap.

Here you go, just grab one of these vintage looking Santa paper hand towels to dry with.

I know some one will use the towel, but I really just have it there for looks.

You can toss the paper hand towel in the wastebasket. Don't you love the little rug?
You can see a little peek of the lighted cardboard house I placed on the bottom shelf.

I have this wonderful scented candle burning, just in case.

Now show me what you have this week. Christmas decor or any makeover you may have.

Please add your permalink and not just your whole blog.
Please please add a link or my button in your post so others can find the party and join in.
Please leave me a comment so I will know I have some new party goers here so I don't miss you.
I would love to have you follow me if you are new here.
Now let's have fun!

KIM

Joining Common Ground vintage inspiration party since the hand towels are vintage looking.

Well, it is just the lovliest little spot to sit and stay awhile! :) I'm feelin' kinda bad, because I did not decorate my bathrooms this year or many of the rooms! Time just simply got away from me and after awhile it just felt like some freedom to free myself from it!! I am telling you...that booth takes a lot of time...especially around the holidays! Any more thoughts about it with your sister? I have absolutely loved it and it has unleashed a whole bunch of creativity I din't even know I had...just more work than I thought! Merry Christmas Kim! I hope it is peaceful and magical and wonderful with your children and grands!! I just know they feel so blessed to come home to this lovely place!!

It is a brave woman who shows her LOO... unless her bathroom is beautiful like yours! I just love the little yellow table. I bet you painted it, didn't you?
The silverplate footed bowl looks gorgeous filled with green balls and moss and snowflakes. Very pretty, Kim! I have a footed one too and I'm thinking about borrowing your idea.
You must be ready for Christmas if your powder room is Merry and Bright!

Hi Kim,

I painted something again!!! LOL I had to come join in your BTB party to show it off. Nothing like your work but you DO inspire me so much.

This little powder room looks charming. I love the dark lantern with the candle hung on the wall. I never would have thought of doing that.
The bulbs & snowflakes in the pot look really pretty, too. You do have "that touch".
Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas & for hosting this party each week. I'm always happy when I have something that qualifies me to join in.

Merry Christmas to you & yours!!

Aren't you funny! Yes mam, I might be in that bathroom quite awhile. It is gorgeous! I loved it the first time I saw it and I love it even more in it's holiday best. I decorated mine but don't really want to show it. LOL! I did finally add a table but it's kind of crowded looking, still need to tweek it a bit more. Maybe one day I will have some befores and afters on it. I just love all the inspiration from yours though! It's fantastic!

I stopped displaying pretty towels after my husband scolded me for getting a tool from the garage. "You can't use that one," he said, "That's the good wrench! It's only for looks!" Yes, he had a point.
