BTB Party #10 and Productivity

Hello everyone. It's time for the weekly "boring to better" party which is all about before and afters. I can't believe this is number 10 already.

When the weather reports started looking like the sure thing that snow was coming our way I went to our local Ace hardware store along with the many others who were there. Of course those folks were there for ice melt, snow shovels, sand, and heaters. Not me, no sirree. I was there to get a new can of paint.
I figured if I am not going to be able to get out I might as well be productive and work on another project on my list.

Yes, I bought this gallon of paint and have been painting away.

Mr. Savvy even helped me yesterday since he couldn't do anything else. He helped me move
furniture and he even helped to paint.

Now the room is far from finished so I don't have a reveal yet.
Just sharing some snippets with you.

So now it is your turn to share some before and afters.
If you don't have a before shot that is fine with me. Sometimes I forget, too.

Linky rules:
Link your intended post and not your whole blog.
PLEASE add my link or party button to your post where it is easy for others to find. They may want to pop over with the link you provide and join in the fun, too. This is how we get our blogs out there.
Please become a follower through my google friend connect on the sidebar if you are new here.
No advertising or etsy links. This is for before and afters.

Now let's party!
KIM

Kim, you are the queen of painting! I'm sure there was plenty of paint for you since everyone else was concerned about weather matters.

I may have to walk to GW in the snow just for fun! Happy snow days...hugs...Debbie

What in the world are you doing *now* ?! lol. Your guest room appears to have been visited by your paint brush ... look forward to seeing what you've done! And, thanks for hosting ... I'm sure that there are a lot of fun projects that people have had fun with during the snow storms!

Looking forward to the reveal, Kim.

I decided to link to the fireplace rather than the lake bedroom.

Seriously, can I bottle your energy and creativity? Please? Girl, you are on a painting streak. Can't wait to see the
reveal, I know it's going to be GREAT!! =) Thanks for hosting!

XOXO ~Liz

P.S. Is it ok to link something from last week, or does it have to be a specific post for the day of the Boring to Better Party? Thanks!

It is so good to have a helper sometimes. Thank you for hosting the party and... happy painting! :)

Now Kim! Since I am a fellow Southerner, I know you didn't get out to buy paint. If you can get out in the snow, you had to prepare yourself in case another snowflake fell. You were really out buying milk and toilet paper, weren't you?

Just kidding.....kinda. I have barely been out of the house since before Christmas and have cabin fever.

I'm sure your projects will be great as usual!

Susan (My Place to Yours) said...

Good for you, Kim! While you were being VISIBLY productive, my productivity was all "behind the scenes." Sure wish my painting was done... :-) Can't wait to see your finished room.

Hi Kim,
Very pretty color...looks like a bedroom to me. I taped off the baseboards in a soon-to-be bedroom but never got to the painting part. Looks like it will have to wait until the weekend now.
Thanks for hosting the party!!

I was just about to say that you are the busiest blogger I know, then I looked up and saw that Sherry beat me to it. Guess we are all overstating the obvious. Well, I've been a slacker blogger lately so maybe next week I will have something to share. Fingers crossed.

I really need some of what you are drinking! I've been snowed in the past two days and all I feel like doing is curling up under a throw and napping! I have managed to do a few other "have to" things...but, I feel much more like doing projects when the sun is shining!

Can't wait to see what you have done now!

Kim,
Thank you so much for hosting this party again. There is nothing like getting feedback from people who have such great ideas and opinions. Your hosting this party gives so many people like myself a chance to show projects to the huge amount of people who visit your blog that would never see our projects otherwise. Thank you again!! Oh..and BTW, thank you for your sweet comments on my kitchen. I never thought about two different colors for my stools...you always make me think. :)
