A Sweet Gift

1.06.2011

Before we get too far from Christmas I wanted to show you a special gift Mr. Savvy and I received from our daughter and son in law. The technology these days amazes me.

This is a book made up with Leila's photos. The cover is hard and even looks a lot like burlap. Now, does my daughter know me or what. She put this together and ordered it.

I can pick this up any time and flip through these pages.

All we have with our kid's photos are those big bulky photo albums.

Now you can go through your photos on line and create a wonderful book.

All these pictures were taken by a professional photographer when Leila was around two weeks old.

So nice to flip each page and enjoy these pictures.

My daughter did this with their wedding photos, too. It is a large book.

I'm loving the smaller size of this book. It is just right.

Thanks for stopping by,

KIM

  9. What a special gift! My husband did this for me with pictures of my son for Mother's Day last year. Love the changes in your beautiful dining room. My foyer, dining room, and kitchen are all painted a pretty bright yellow gold almost just like yours was and I am always thinking or repainting it, but just don't want to go through all the mess and work of doing it.

  24. I love those books too. Every year after Christmas I upload all my holiday photos and create a photo book to help me remember all the details of Christmas that year. It's fun to get them out every Christmas and remember our previous holidays. My 2010 Christmas book should be arriving any day now.
    Have a great weekend.

  27. My Great Aunt has similiar books showing off both of her Great Grandchildren. Her granddaughter sells scrapbook materials, so she has easy access to making books like that, so every year, they get an updated book.

The smaller size means you can carry the book with you to show off your pretty grandbaby more often!

  28. I make up a book every year for my kids at kodakgallery.com. Highlights of their year. It's also a cool way to document a special vacation. So easy to do, really, and not that expensive. It's a great gift.

  36. Don't you just love those books! Leila's is gorgeous, but how could it not be with such a beautiful baby! I made small books like that with soft covers every two months when Jemma was little for us, my parents and the hubby's parents. We still look through them all the time! I now have a book made when we have photos of Jemma done. I have all the pictures and can look at them whenever I want. I always bought lots before with the idea of hanging them all and just never did so a book is perfect!

  50. We have been giving photobooks to our parents for last couple of years now and it is always their favorite thing. I have also decided to make a book for us for each year. They are so much more professional looking than regular picture albums and dont take up as much space! Your book is precious! I know you will cherish it and there are more to come I'm sure!!!
