I can scratch off one more project for the guest room. I have one more and then it will be finished!
I took this picture that I had put away in storage and completely transformed it. I purchased this
for only ten dollars a couple of years ago at Home Goods on the clearance aisle.
Here are all the products I used.
First I painted the frame white using the Behr paint I had left over from the dresser project.
The color is called cotton knit.
I sanded several spots to age it. Then I polished it with Minwax finishing paste wax.
I mod podged a piece of burlap I had over the painted canvas.
Bought the N from Hobby Lobby for half price last week and painted it green.
Glued it to the picture with liquid nails. Then I glued the trim around the edge with fabric tac glue
just to finish off the edge and dress it up a little.
The finished product. I could not get a good clear photo with this horrible dark dreary weather.
I wanted to share this email that Shari sent me today after I featured her bathroom and vanity makeover from last week's party. If you want a chance to be featured and more traffic get those projects linked up.
HOLY MOLY!!!! My stat counter is about to go into cardiac arrest; it's so busy tallying up all the people who have visited today since you featured my vanity! My followers are increasing right before my eyes! I am completely overwhelmed but so deeply appreciative of your kind gesture to feature the vanity. Oh mercy me! I guess I need to step up the pace now and get some posts going that are worthy of all this attention! My sincere thanks...again and again and again. :)
O.k. now it's your turn.
Link up those projects and makeovers.
Link your intended post and not your whole blog.
PLEASE add my link or party button to your post where it is easy for others to find. They may want to pop over with the link you provide and join in the fun, too. This is how we get our blogs out there. If you find your link deleted then you didn't have it linked back for others to find the party.
