Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments on my bedroom makeover. I had several questions and I said I would give all the details in this post.

Wall color is davenport tan by Benjamin Moore and I painted this room several years ago.
Only new things in this makeover is the bedding, throw pillows and the lamps on my dresser.

The ticking bed skirt is by Pottery Barn. This is a new product and they are already on back order until July so I went on ebay to see if I could find something else that would work and lo and behold if the PB bed skirt wasn't right there on ebay. woo hoo!  My bed is a queen and this skirt is a king, but I knew I could make it work. It actually helped make it longer which I like. The best part is I got this king for the PB price of a queen and free shipping! This is made of linen and I love the sheerness of it.

The cream quilt and duvet cover are also both by Pottery Barn. I found these at the outlet. I could go nuts in the outlet. The duvet is a cream linen so of course it wrinkles, but I love the fresh airy look.

The huge down filled toile pillows were a super find at Scott's Antique Market in Atlanta a few weeks ago. These are so big and heavy and I just knew they would be over $100 like most of the nice pillows I saw there, but no, they were only $48 apiece. They are so well made and I just had to have them.
The canvas pillow in front is from Restoration Hardware outlet.

Do you see how full these pillows are? The covers are zippered so they can be cleaned when needed.

The lamps are from Hobby Lobby. I already had one of them that I purchased a while back and had it in the foyer. Then last week I got the other one and love them in here. Both were bought at half price and they really are well made. The two for $89 is a deal to me. The shades trim is wider on one than the other, but that is alright.  I like things that are different.

Projects I worked on was painting this mirror white, painted the armoire white, and painted the side table white.

I was asked where I found this dog pillow. I ordered this on line a couple of years ago from Art & Artifacts and doubt they still carry it. This chair and ottoman are by Lee Industries and was purchased at a local decor shop over a year ago. The floor lamp is from Target.

If there are any more questions just email me.

Enjoy your day,

KIM

  5. I missed the reveal post so this was all new to me! I wish we had a PB and/or Restoration Hardware outlet near here, but then again, that could be dangerous!!
The room looks gorgeous. So tranquil and uncluttered....just what a bedroom should be. Another beautiful job.

  6. The bedroom turned out great, Kim. Love the pillows!!!! I had that same wall color in my last house in a guest bedroom. I love it-it is so neutral and changes colors as the light changes in the room (did you notice that)? We are traveling all week but I am catching a blog here and there and posting one. Have a great week!

Fortunately, the one we have here is NOT an outlet, so I'm forced to restrain myself. lol Your bedroom looks beautiful ... so calming, soft and serene. I bet little "wookie" loves the new look, too. 21. That's my kind of shopping...outlets! I love Hobby Lobby lamps too, but every time I go look for one during the 50% off sale, I always wind up bringing home two, because really it's 2 for 1! haha!
