We're about to get 10 inches of rain over the next few days. My thoughts are, better than snow!
I'm with ya sista'! All my sports have been rained out this week, so I've been working on my sewing closet and shopping.
I bought a pair of sandals in a neutral champagne (did you know "neutral" is the new black?). Seeing them on my feet, the salesgirl made a face and asked me if I was planning on tanning my feet. I guess the color was the same pale as my skin, ha. I sure hope to tan them!
I hear... this weekend the sun is coming our way, bring on the sunshine!

Kim, we are sharing the dreary weather I'm afraid. The sun hasn't shined in a while and it is easy to get into a funk. Can't take a descent picture or get outside the way I would like to. Your images are a nice welcome though, with the sun shining in. Sending you sunny thoughts.

No sun here, either, Kim! Very cloudy today with rain on the way. They say some snow, too, but by tomorrow morning it will all be rain again. Maybe 1-3 inches of snow over a wide period of time.

It's really nice to have an outdoor place. I live in the Philippines and most of the time it's a sunny day here. Among your picks, I love the second one. It's painted with simple white but the furniture and pieces made it very alive and colorful!

My partner/cohort in this blog thing lives in Syracuse, NY, and they are expecting 12 inches. Lucky for them, they are leaving for a week in Belgium and a week cycling with us in Holland to celebrate their first anniversary.

We had a beautiful day here yesterday Kim, 60 and sunny!! Not so great today cloudy grey and cold and we might even get snow tomorrow (ugh)!!!
The last time we had sun was a week ago Friday. I can't believe it's been cloudy for so long. Although it's suppose to be warmer today. The three weeks prior were unusually warm and sunny for this time of year. I love cloudy days but am ready for some sun.

I am SO with you on longing for sunshine. We got faked out with a few gorgeous, warm days, but now we're back to dreary and cold. I have already given the front porch it's annual cleaning in anticipation of getting to use it. If this keeps up, I'll have to do it all again!!!

Thanks for the condolences Kim...yes snow is coming tonight! The weatherman said that about ten years ago or so we had snow in MAY!!!! ARGH. Well I can stand ONE more snowfall and then I am putting my foot down.
Can you beleive that we are supposed to get more snow in the next couple of days? I am so sick and tired of Winter this year. I am really ready for some sunshine! The winters here on the Island are very grey. People warned me about the lack of sun. Even though we got a lot of snow back home we had lots of sunny days.
Today the sun is trying very hard to peek out of the clouds. After hearing about the East getting more snow I am not going to complain about the misty rain today!

Oh, that first picture is my DREAM, Kim!!!! Oh to have a porch to dine on! It makes me want to cover our deck!!!! I would love to be able to put furniture, lamps etc. outside for the Spring, Summer and Fall to enjoy and not worry about the weather. It is cool (42) here today and drizzly:( I was out all day in the drizzle. I am longing for sun too but we are supposedly in for DAYS of rain....YUCK! XO, Pinky
Yes, we had plenty of sunshine. I actually had to turn the air on as the temps are closing in on triple digits. Yay, not!!! I don't know where I was when you had your kitchen reveal, but I must have been snoozin' or somethin'. Just now took a look & it's just beautiful. I'm crazy about beadboard, too. We have some in this house & I hope we can put some in the new house.
