Favorite Shopping Spot

4.29.2011

This is my favorite antique mall in the area. I like going to Scott Antique Market, too, which is only open one weekend a month, but for a nice place that is open seven days a week and much more affordable I go to Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta. I just wish I had bottomless pockets.

I would love this old dog print if it wasn't so expensive.

I think I may go by this store after the Atlanta bloggers lunch tomorrow. Any of my fellow bloggers or readers going to be there? I look forward to meeting those that will be.

Any plans to visit a favorite flea or antique mall this weekend?

Have a good one!
Kim

  4. They've got some great stuff, Kim. I saw a few things I'm sure I would have walked out of there with! I'm going to try and hit the thrift store tomorrow morning, but then that's it for me. Need to whip the house into shape for an open house on Sunday.

  6. Bethanie, Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta is so much better. Bigger and really nice booths. You should come to that lunch tomorrow. It is for everyone.

  7. Kim, I can see why this is a favorite place! There are quite a few items in these pics that I would love to have! I haven't found a favorite antiques store in my area. I'm either not very impressed with the inventory, or I think the prices are outrageous. Wish I could find a happy medium.

  14. This place is amazing. There is nothing like it that I know of in northern Ohio. There may be someplace towards the southern end of our state but I'm not sure. My eyes have turned green with envy. :o) ~Ann

  25. When or When were you at Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta??? I long for the oblong wooden thing in picture 19. I'm in Kennesaw and just love you blog. Wanted so badly to attend the blogger meeting at La Madelines, but we were just blessed with our first grandchild on Tuesday. Mom's not quite ready to give up her helper yet. I'd love to meet you in person - we have so many, many things in common! But first - please tell me you saw the wooden 'thing' at Q of H recently! If so, I'm there on Monday - precious grandbaby or not!

  26. What a fun place! It makes me want to visit Georgia. This is just the kind of thing I'm looking for on my blog. You make me want to post about Georgia, just so I can list these places. We're planning to take off on our 2 month cross country trip in the beginning of June, so I better hurry up and post all of the States, so I can get some comments about places like this. Thanks for such a pretty post.
