New Arrangement

4.24.2011

After Mr. Savvy hung the bead board wallpaper in the kitchen recently he asked that I do something for him. He wanted me to put the furniture in the great room back the way I used to have it. He wanted his leather recliner more in front of the television. This is for hearing reasons. He has hearing aids in both ears and said the sound was not right with his chair over in front of the windows and at an angle to the t.v.

So being the sweet wife that I am (choke choke) I changed things around so his chair would be in front of the television for better sound quality.

Now he says he can hear better from this spot.

I hung the large picture over the sofa as if it is a normal wall and not a wall of windows. I may take
it down for the warm seasons while the leaves are on the trees and add it back when the trees are bare.

This is to the left of his chair and the walkway to our master bedroom and powder room.

The rest is just shots around the room.

The room actually looks and feels bigger with this arrangement. I guess it will stay for a while.
All these photos are straight from the camera with no editing.
I got the new Canon EOS Rebel T3i. So much to learn, but loving it.
Have a super week!

KIM

Speaking of pictures. The one of your sweet granddaughter with her binjy and holding her foot is precious.

  21. Isn't that just the way it is? Real life gets in the way of perfection...or what WE think is perfection? The room really looks great this way too, Kim. Lovely!!!

We have things arranged for "sound" in our house too. Did you know that MyHero is completely deaf in one ear? It throws sound all out of whack as to where it is actually coming from. When he says, "Where are you?" I have to be specific and say not just---in here...I have to say "In the dining room"...or wherever. He gets a bit ticked off when I just say=- "I'm over here"...he says that a person should KNOW after 20 years of hearing loss that he can't tell where I am by sound....yeah...okay...welcome to MY world!

Hope your Easter Sunday evening is a good one! Hugs~ Diana
