Happy Friday

6.10.2011

The Mr. and I  usually go see a movie on Friday unless there just isn't anything worth seeing. We have been seeing the trailer to the movie 'Super 8' for quite some time. Mr. Savvy is a science fiction lover and this should be right up his alley. Hopefully I will enjoy it, too. Most Steven Spielberg movies are good. This was written and directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Spielberg. On movietickets.com it has almost five stars from the user reviews. I don't even look at the critics reviews. We usually don't agree with them.

This is Dakota Fanning's sister, Elle. I loved Dakota in movies.

Looks interesting doesn't it? At least if I don't like the movie, but I probably will, I have this to look at. sigh

Anyone else have plans to see this?
I will let you know how it was.

Happy Friday!

  5. We usually wait for Netflix but we did see "Water for Elephants" and it was pretty good but the book was better. Have fun. I have to rest up for estate sales in the morning any way. I recently looked up estate sales in your area and I have got to say I would be in trouble. ♥O

  16. I never look at critics reviews either.....they are normally never in sync with what I think.....its so subjective. I want to see the new Woody Allen movie, Midnight in Paris so hope to find some time over the weekend to go! Enjoy your weekend and movie:)

  20. Hey, Kim, thanks for the movie recommendation. We needed a break from all things "moving/packing" related & went to see it this afternoon. I never jumped so many times during a movie since "Jaws!" It was quite good, and we both enjoyed it. The kids were certainly the stars of this movie, but Kyle was quite easy on the eyes whenever he had a scene. Have a great weekend!

  22. So how was it?? Yes he is some yummy eye candy! I have always liked him even back when he had that show about a newspaper. I forget what it was called. I swear he never ages!

  23. Kyle Chandler is a doll! He caught my eye back when he was in the tv show, "Early Edition." We love going to the movies and are looking forward to seeing this show. Our theater has a "senior" day on Wednesdays- $4.50 for age 55 and up. I finally qualify! LOL But I don't like the classification as a "senior." I think of 70-year- olds as seniors- not me!!
