Wow Us Wednesdays #21

7.06.2011

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We actually went and watched fireworks this year. We haven't done that in many years. Usually Mr. Savvy is asleep in his chair and I go out on the driveway and watch some fireworks by someone down the street go up over the trees and say yay all by myself. We did have rain on and off yesterday which probably put a damper on some folks outside activities, but we needed it.

Now on to some features from last week's party. Thanks for the huge turn out. Almost 300 links!

Potentially Beautiful took this beautiful roadside treasure and transformed it.

Check out these wonderful faux bamboo chairs at A Blonde's DIY Life.

Have y'all noticed that several bloggers have traveled to France this year. That is still on my bucket list. Check out Honey's pictures from her recent trip at 2805.

Candy at the Little Round Table turned a table leaf into this wonderful bath shelf.

Another great item intended for one use transformed into a new use. You can see the transformation at

You must see what Nita did with these thrift store pieces. Pure genius!

Love this chair transformation and cushion at Clustres.

Love all this great inspiration. If you were featured take my featured button on my sidebar.

I have done several projects in the past week, but haven't gotten around to taking pictures and editing them yet.
Now, I want to see what you have to share.

  21. How do people even think of things like what she did with those silver casserole dish holders?? My brain just doesn't work that way!

It took us four years of living here and driving across town in traffic to figure out we could see the city fireworks from our deck!

Yes, I noticed so many bloggers going to France and it was fun because it helped us plan our trip plus get really excited beforehand.

I had to laugh, your story sounds like mine, especially saying "yay" all by myself. I love, love, love fireworks and he doesn't but this year we went to the big stadium event and we were both wowed by the most beautiful fireworks Ihave ever seen. Glad he enjoyed it this year!!!
