Kitchen Chicks

8.09.2011

Sweet Sheila at Note Songs has invited us to another Heart of the Home party. This time she wants us to feature our roos, yard birds, hens, roosters, or whatever you want to call them. I do have quite a few in my kitchen and breakfast room.

Come on in and let's hunt for the roos.

What? That's a chicken, too.

  54. Some of my earliest memories I have are of the roosters at both of my grandparents homes. NOT good memories. They were the meanest things. Chasing me and pecking me. I had to have a stick with me to play outside. That big red one in your picture looks like my Grandaddy's!Needless to say I don;t have any roos in my kitchen! LOL
