OMG

Who watched The Bachelorette? I watched it on and off. I mean it was on, but my face was usually looking at the computer screen. Well, I just met one of the bachelors in person. Yep, that's right. We went to one of our favorite restaurants for pizza tonight and the place was packed. The guy taking names behind the counter looked very familiar. I told Mr. Savvy that the guy looked just like one of the bachelors from The Bachelorette show. Well, of course he does because he is. I didn't even know one of them owned the restaurant, Giorgio's in Cumming, Ga. It is about a twenty five minute drive for us, but so worth it. They have the best pizza around here.

Constantine is partners in his family owned restaurant that we just happen to go to. It is a small world. I can tell you this, he is much better looking in person than in this picture or on t.v.

I read that his mother sent in an application for the show without him knowing it. I was always getting Ben(other guy in picture with him) and him mixed up they looked so much alike. I read that the people on the show mixed them up, too. Ben and Constantine became close friends and now Constantine sells Ben's wine from his winery in Ca. at Giorgio's. Ben is going to be at Giorgio's soon so all the girls can go and swoon over them.

Mr. Savvy asked me if I wanted to get his autograph. Um......... no, that's okay.

Just thought I would share this info with y'all. I tried to find a better photo of him. This does not do him justice, ladies. He has a really good tan now, too. Oh, and he held the door open for me when we were leaving. Yesiree.

  1. How fun, Kim! Yes, I watched every bit of it and loved the show when she came to meet his family...such a fun group of people! I told my friends we have to go to Cumming and check out his restaurant. I know if Ben shows up the girls will indeed come over to stare at him and swoon! lol He was my favorite! Happy weekend!...hugs...Debbie

  2. Now that's a show I've never watched, but there sure is a lot in the magazines and newspapers about it!
Good for you for spotting that celeb!

  3. We followed it because our youngest daughter picked Ashley as her favorite bachelorette from the first episode of Brad's season. Constantine left the show for religious reasons, yet ABC edited out all of that for some reason. He was one of my favorites from the start. I also liked JP. Ben made a very inappropriate video when he was younger, so he lost points with me. Thanks for sharing :D I would have gotten his autograph. I wish Constantine would be the next bachelor instead of Ryan!!!

  4. I did think Ben and Constantine looked very much alike. How small world indeed that you would run into him. Six degrees of seperation...

    Thanks for sharing~

  6. Hi Kim! I think that is really exciting AND that he is a gentleman and held the door for you. I did not watch any of that season. I got disgusted with Jake a year or so ago when they played up that he was such a great guy and then he wasn't in the end so I haven't watched since then. I don't even know...which guy did she pick in the end since it was not Constatine?

  10. For the life of me I cannot understand reality television. If you want reality go outside! Take a walk! Get some fresh air! Meet people!
I remain unimpressed by trite, shallow tv personalities. That's just me.
I wouldn't trade ONE Mother Teresa for 3 billion so called celebrities!
I really just don't get it?
We haven't had a television set for years and years and I don't regret it ONE SINGLE BIT! LOL!

  14. Kim, that is soooo cool you running into him. I watched the whole show (ya, I know how cheesey)with My 16 year old granddaughter. It was a lot of fun for us trying to guess who was leaving next. Constantine was my favorite, and his family was like watching the family of the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding loved them. He left for all of the right reasons and such a gentlemen for not wanting to stay for the over night date. They should have a show of him and his families restuarant. Ben and Ames was great, but I liked that she picked JP Thank you for sharing Decor. Lady

  18. Kim I knew he was in partnership with his parents at that restaurant. My friend Sandie and I discussed going there to eat sometime just for fun. How great he was there. I did watch the show and think he was happy when his time was over. He did not fall in love with Ashley but I hear he does have a girlfriend now. That Ben is a cutie also.

  19. Kim, you lucky thing!!!
I watched and liked Constantine and Ben, too. How fun for you to have the opportunity to see that cutie pie up close and personal! He seems like a real gentleman.

  20. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!!!! I would have been giddy! I am such a star nerd anyway... not that he is a star or anything, but he was sooo nice! I wanted to be a part of his family! I need to go there especially when Ben is there. I didn't care for either of them in the beginning, but they grew on me! How fun!!

  24. I admit, I really got into the show. Didn't care for her but it was fun watching the drama unfold each week. I knew C had a pizza restaurant and how cool is it that you saw him. :) LOL...I was always getting him and Ben mixed up too until the end. That's neat that they became good friends.

  25. Kim, Wow! I did watch most of this season - call it mom's monday night off! Very nice that they became good friends - this season had the most down-to-earth guys - usually they're all just actor-wannabe's or too much on themselves. I was getting those two mixed up too!

Here's an idea: tell them you have this blog and you'd like to do a give-away of wine - only if they'd ship it, of course. :)

  26. I did watch the Bachelor and thought Constantine was SO nice. It always upsets me when it gets down to the last few and she/he dumps them. It is so mean and always seems like she is leading them on. I have heard that his restaurant is really good!

  27. Linda sent me this - we just went and had lunch in Cumming a few weeks ago -you must live near us!

  28. I am so glad Constantine ditched her. She is annoying and JP looks a bit insecure to me. You should take bets as to how long this "romance" will last.
