Apples and Fall.......

10.06.2011

......just go together. Apples are perfect for pies, cobblers, cakes, muffins, breads, hot cider and more, but they are also the perfect little accessory to decorate with in your home. My daughter, Leila and I went to a farmer's market last Sunday and I bought a bag of beautiful Jonathon apples. They are the perfect tart sweet.

I thought I would share this little vignette I threw together in the sun room.

I have returned my favorite apple painting to the sun room on this table.

This was one of my very first flea market purchases and I still love it.

The frame is what sold me. I always love a nice frame and this one has wormholes to make it rustic.

I took these pictures in the afternoon and I love the way the light casts shadows.

Now I just need to go make a pie or something!

Happy Fall!

  9. This is perfect. The apples, painting and lamp all have the same red. Only you would be able to match your apples to your decor. But really I love it down to the darling rooster towel.

  37. Good morning, Kim! Great shots! I'm slowly learning about cameras...that it's the lens that makes the difference, more than the camera. Is that your take on cameras too? Whatever you're doing, it works! The lighting is beautiful!
