Fall Festival

10.02.2011

It is that time of year now with fall festivals and fairs taking place. The one Brooke and Leila and I went to yesterday was a one day event with over fifty local artisans sharing their wares. There was also barbeque, pumpkins and live music. We had perfect weather yesterday that made it actually feel like fall.

Here are some shots I took while there.

Cute banner. Lot of things reminded me of the crafts in blog land.

There was a lot of jewelry.

These golden book bags were really cute.

Then I went inside where some really pretty things were.

I would have bought this if it wasn't so expensive.

Tie dye anyone?

Fresh baked dog treats.

Well, I left empty handed, but it was fun to just to go and look.

Now, I may find another one to go to.
What are you doing today?

Enjoy your Sunday

We are going to celebrate Gabi's 7th birthday today, with a party at the home of one of her aunts. Lots of family, friends, fun and food!!

  7. G'morning Kim!, where is this, if not Atlanta? It has amazing things. While we have some events here in California, nothing near what you ladies in the east can "get your hands on"! Absolute fun!!

  10. Kim, what a great way to spend a Fall Saturday. Its fun to go even if we do leave empty handed. I see a lot of things I would love to bring home with me.The beautiful fall arrangement being one but I know how expensive they can be, I would pass on it too. I spent my Saturday doing a historic home tour. The day was glorious and perfect for being outside. Have a great Sunday......

  19. What a neat place! It even felt a bit fallish here as we only got in the high 70's! It was downright chilly in the morning! I had a yard sale yesterday and then to the pumpkin patch for a birthday party. It was a great day!!!

  32. OMG, Kim, I went to that festival also, (Market 334 in Cumming). I have a good friend that has a booth there. In fact, her's is in one of your pictures...the inside one where there is a iron bench with pillows, aprons, stockings, etc. (Mrs. Charlotte's). I bought several goodies from her and a couple of other items. I love this shop. Wish I would have seen
you there! I also went down the street and bought a bunch of pumpkins and goards. I was a great shopping day!

  33. Kathi, I was there for a couple of hours with my daughter and Leila. You don't have a blog so I wouldn't have been looking for you. I did not know that market was even there. My daughter's friend had a booth outside for the festival.

They did have some nice things inside, but a little pricey.
