For A Special Client

10.29.2011

I have taken on a project for a very special client. This is being done out of the kindness of my heart as a gift. I say that because Lord have mercy what have I taken on here?! OMG, could this piece have any more nooks and crannies? I don't think so.

One coat down another one to go and then the fun begins. At least I hope it is fun.
I'm going to go buy a bottle of wine now. Just kidding!

I hope I have this finished for a reveal soon. Fingers crossed.

What did you do today?

Giveaway still going  HERE. Don't miss out.

  6. Hi Kim,
What a lovely mirror. They can be hard to paint when you have all those scrollies and grooves, but from what I can see it's looking really good.

    Lucky client!

  7. Along with the bottle of wine, you might want to pick up a length of surgical tubing. It works great as a long flexible straw -- and you can drink the wine WHILE you paint!

    Multi-tasking.
    :-)

What you've done so far looks beautiful!

  9. I have faith in you to paint anything. I paid a vat of money for an old rusty bucket and Joe nearly stroked but I have soothed him with a broccoli stir fry.

And it rained all day, so I didn't get anything done I needed to, like yard work.
