Stonehouse Living

10.01.2011

I just love that name. I want to introduce you to Christine. She has been blogging for just a few months. She and her family live in a 1950's fieldstone cape cod, in Canada, within walking distance to a bay with beaches and parks. Doesn't that just sound beautiful? Christine and her husband are in the process of renovating their home and I can't wait to see the reveals as they get them done. She is a DIYer, sewer, quilter, cook, baker, crafter, gardener, wife and mom. Whew, she is one busy lady.

Doesn't this just say fall? I am going to make this recipe that she shared for this apple cake that is made in a cast iron skillet. She has shared several recipes that all look yummy.

She shares beautiful pictures like this

and this

and this. This is a pretty setting on their new porch they just added on.

This is the living room that is still a work in progress. Look at the beautiful detail above the fireplace.
The walls and new trim are all going to be painted in a new color. I can't wait to see this done.

She also goes thrifting and creates wonderful vignettes like this

and bakes and creates goodies like these.

So get comfy and stop by Christine's if you haven't already and snoop around. She would love
for you to drop by and let her know you were there.

Thanks, Christine for allowing me to share your blog.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

I am going with my daughter and Leila to a fall festival. We are actually having wonderful fall weather now. I checked the thermometer and it is only 44 degrees this morning! How did that happen?

  10. Good morning Kim,

Thank-you! for introducing me to your lovely readers.

Your Blog has been such a big inspiration to me!

I remember when we first met this past summer when you were hosting the "Decks & Porches" You were working so hard to get yours ready, in that heat, ours had just finished construction and I was able to attend the party! And what a fun party it was, a very good party!

It has been my pleasure getting to know you and your family through your Blog! I know you and your husband have put your heart and soul into your home too! I plan on sharing so much more about mine as well...

Have a great day today with your loved ones! It is going to be a great fall weekend!
    Enjoy!

    Sincerely,
    Christine
