Weekend Plans

10.22.2011

We are going to go view the beautiful fall color on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. in Asheville, NC. This was taken last weekend and I sure hope it still looks somewhat like this now.

( my photo)
And we are going to go look at some places like this.

Think I am going to start here this time. It is HUGE and I have only been through part of it twice.

And the best part is Mr. Savvy and I will be meeting a blogger friend and her husband for lunch.
Actually by the time this posts we will have already had our lunch get together.
You may be able to guess who and you may not.

Then on Sunday we will go celebrate Leila's first birthday with family.

What are you doing this weekend?

I hope it is a grand one!

  4. Oh Kim, I am jealous!!! Our forests or the bush as we call it, are evergreen (or kind of a browny, dusty green!!!!) So we dont have a natural spattering of so many colours. I think when I finally get over there it will have to be fall!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  33. We are about 5 miles from the Parkway here in Roanoke... the colors are grand right now, although our rainy and windy weather this past week did not help! Wish those colorful leaves could stay on the trees year round, but I wish that every year and it just never happens. Enjoy your drive!

  41. Asheville is one of my favorite places! You are so lucky to be enjoying it at this time of year. We had snow when we were there last time and the Pkwy. was closed. I did shop at The Tobacco Barn, though, and had a great time. Can't wait to see your pics!
