Shopping Part Two and My Find

11.07.2011

Last week I shared some pictures from an antique store that my mom and sister and I went shopping at. I shared about half the pictures so here are the rest plus what I bought that day.

This old red kitchen stool reminds me of the one that I used to climb up on at my grandmother's to help wash dishes.

B J, here is a stack of coke and 7 Up crates that you said you can't find.

There is a whole lot going on in this booth.

This is another one of my favorite booths. He has all the great things I love to collect.

See, he just has the best stuff.

That table would make a great kitchen island.

We met Lisa, the owner of this booth. I loved this vintage marble topped table. I wish it would fit in my powder room.

Adore the ticking.

I would love to get a hold of this piece with chalk paint.

I bought the wood appliques that I shared in yesterday's post and this silver tray.
I have been looking for a good size silver tray with interesting details and a great price.

Love the flower detailing on the tray and down the sides.

I replaced the black tray in the sitting room with this silver one.

Most trays this size were way more than I wanted to pay. This one was only $22. Yay.

I will be joining the following parties:
A Stroll thru Life
Coastal Charm

We have a new special someone to go visit mid week with his early arrival. I am still trying to finish my paint project which is taking forever and I have Leila for half a day on Tuesday. Busy busy.
Hope your week is more relaxed than mine.

Last chance to enter the designer pillow cover giveaway here.

  4. We had one of those kitchen stools in an avocado green. It sat in the back of our breakfast room at a high top counter area. There was a phone on the counter and I can remember talking to my friends while sitting on it. I would play with that footstool part. Boy was that a squeeky stool!! I would kill to have one. Do you remember how much that one was??

  6. That tray is really beautiful, Kim! Well worth the $22.00! So many nice things in all those booths. I have to say that the booths aren't as pretty at the local place by me, but I've been seeing some nice things tucked away in them.

  23. I love old huge silver trays like your new one. When you get tired of it, they make great magnetic boards, just hang with ribbon from the handles. I just sold one like this in my mall booth.

  35. I want that "island!" (Little does dear husband know!) I, too, found some Coke crates recently. They bring back so many memories for me. When I was growing up we always had at least one case of Coke bottles in our garage. Despite their claims, once they changed the formula it was never the same! lol

  37. The red stool brings back great memories of my grandma too. Mine had a fused him so it was easier to sit in one of those. Years later I saw one at a store and purchased it, looks just like this one but has a little white on it.
