We placed four chairs on each side since there is no room on the ends if we want to get around the table.
This is when I wish the room was a little larger, but we only use this room every other year so this will work.
The dough bowl was just too big so I brought in my wicker tray from the great room and filled it with pumpkins, squash, pods, acorns, avocados, couple of critters and antlers.
See the big quail (I think) that I purchased at Pottery Barn years ago?
Willow chargers from Nell Hill's online last year, new plates from Home Goods, and acorn napkins from Williams Sonoma outlet this year. These are the napkin rings I made.
I didn't buy eight of the acorn napkins so I found these plaid ones at Home Goods and love the mix of patterns.
The amber goblets are from Ballard Designs years ago.
My Publix pilgrim shakers get to join in the fun. I hope they don't eat our food like in the old commercials. I will keep a very close eye on them. Leaf dishes from Home Goods will be used for butter.
Candlesticks from Home Goods and birch wrapped candles from World Market.
I grabbed this shot at dusk yesterday just to show what it would look like with the candles lit. We will be eating in the afternoon though so no candles burning.
I had to add a couple of oddball glasses in since I didn't have eight of the other ones since one broke.
Tables are done. Now onto the rest of the cleaning and cooking.
Thanksgiving will be here in the wink of an eye.
Hope y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and don't overeat. Oh, who am I kidding. Eat it all!
Have a super duper week!
