The Sitting Room

I only added a few holiday touches in my favorite room. You probably thought the sun room was my favorite. It is where I hang out the most, but I love the feeling of this room and the smell of the old leather books. This room is filled with all the things I love such as dogs, horses, antlers, pillows, gingham, red and the books. This room is smaller and just has a cozier feel than other rooms in the house.

I filled my large silver tray with my moss covered deer that I made last year and pine cones.

I also added the old tusk horn, or whatever it is to the vignette.

I tucked a pine branch, pine cone and ornament in the black loving cup.

Here are the riding boots that I filled with greenery and pearls.

My bookcase has finally gotten filled with vintage leather books.

The only thing I added was a few ornaments to the silver bowl.

After taking the other pictures I tucked in some greenery here.

It is such a cozy room - I can see why you like it. I have to say, I'm amazed the moss stayed green on your deer. I assumed you would have to re-do it.
