I shared some new plates and glasses with y'all a good while back and have finally got a table setting put together using them. The table has been partially set for some time waiting for this and that. First I was waiting for the new flatware I ordered and then I kept putting off getting flowers for the centerpiece. Finally it all came together.
I used three vintage mason jars for the centerpiece. I filled them with a variety of flowers. Some from the store and some from my yard.
The gigantic hydrangea bloom is from my bush. It and the smaller one to the right are the only blooms so far this year.
These are the plates that started it all. I saw these at Home Goods and they hopped in my cart.
The green woven place mats are from World Market several years ago.
I love the colors and pattern of these. Great for a casual summer table.
The new flatware is another purchase from
One Kings Lane with credit that I had. It was a very good deal. I ordered two four piece place settings and the order came wrong. It came with two place settings. I called customer service and they made it right as soon as they could. They were very nice to work with and emailed me with the progress of my order.
I purchased these glasses the same time as the plates at Home Goods.
I have had these napkins forever. I bought them at The Tabby House in St. Simons Island, Ga. I don't know if they are even in business anymore. The napkin rings are from a local shop.
Now we just need a meal to go with the setting.
Maybe a nice brunch.
