A Small Change

1.24.2012

Besides the leaf dish and etched hurricane that I found at the antique mall, that I shared, I also found this willow basket/tray. I know I just showed you the new sunroom, but hey, I like this basket better.

I have been wanting one of these, but they usually come with a hefty price tag. Well, not this time. This sucker is a good size and it was only $24. Yay!

So I swapped it out with the bamboo tray that I was using here and filled it with the bottles and a few
extras since it had more space to fill.

I was glad to be able to use the bamboo tray back in the great room on the coffee table.

I added a bunch of lavender that I bought last spring

and a pot of greenery to add some softness.

And of course some antlers.

I have miss Leila today. Enjoy your Tuesday and I will
see you tonight for Wow.

  6. I love that basket. The Barefoot Contessa uses a big sturdy rectangular-shaped basket that I want but haven't been able to find one that has a reasonable price tag. I saw jus the perfect one in Holland but I was on a bicycle. Whomp, whomp.

  8. I like your basket tray. It looks good with a mix of things displayed in it. I see you were able to get some pepperberry sprays like I have. I love those! They are so fluffy and delicate. Have fun with Leila today. I FINALLY have a quiet house today. Will went back to school today and Jimmy is at work. I've got a dentist cleaning later though.

  18. Love the tray and the antlers. There is not one family member that will give up their antlers. And I get a bad look when I say antlers and not "rack":)

  19. There's something about the patina of old wicker baskets that just works in any decorating style - yours is a really wonderful example.
