Wow Us Wednesdays #47

Happy New Year and welcome to the first Wow Us Wednesdays party of the new year. I am not going to share any features from last week because I asked y'all to share your "best" from 2011 and it wouldn't be fair to pick and choose from those. Y'all do amazing work and inspire me each week. Let's just start fresh this year with a clean slate. I will share features next week. Remember to have a link back in your post in order to be featured.

I hope you have some new projects to share. I know we just started the new year, but maybe you have something you finished last month or maybe you are ahead of the game and have something new already finished this year. I thought I would just share a picture of a new project in our home that just got started yesterday. I am so excited that Mr. Savvy is finally helping me to get this done. He finally snapped agreed after all the nagging. We do most everything ourselves around here. He hates paying someone else to do ANYTHING if we can do it ourselves. Sometimes that is good and sometimes not because I HATE waiting.

This is an old picture of the powder room since I didn't take any pictures before Mr. Savvy started taking it apart. I can't tell you how excited I am to get this bathroom updated. No major changes, but enough to make a big difference, I hope. So I will, or rather we will be busy getting this project done. It may take a few weeks since the mister is in no hurry like I am. I will just keep nagging asking nicely when he slacks off too long.

Now let's see what you have to share this week!

Guidelines:
I hope you will grab my new Wow Us Wednesdays button from my sidebar or
have a visible link in your post to this party so others can find it and join in. If you find your link deleted then just add a visible link or button and try again.
No etsy or advertising links.
No link parties.
If you are new here I hope you will become a follower.

Kim, if I had to wait on my husband to do the project, it would never get done. LOL He used to do everything in our previous home, but since moving here he has taken a totally different approach. Look forward to seeing the progress. Love the new look of the blog.

I think our husbands must be brothers! Mr. Wonderful can do just about everything and he really hates to have anyone else do what he can do. Hence, we have half completed master closet cabinets sitting in the garage for over a year now. He says I'm always giving him other projects and he can't get to it. I guess it could be worse, but it's frustrating, when I just want to get it done!

Happy New Year, Kim. I like your blog's clean, new look -- and, it loads much faster. I shared a Greek moussaka recipe, a sesame chicken meatballs recipe, and an apricot chicken with gorgonzola and mozzarella recipe today. Thank you for hosting us again and have a great week!

Hi Kim...First THANKYOU for hosting Wow Us Wednesdays. It is so FUN to participate. I usually go to at least 5 of the sites but because there are so many I will try to go to 10 or more. All these gals are so talented and it is so fun meeting them!

I LOVE your new header and plan to see Kristen. As you know I've only had my blog for 7 weeks now and I want to get a new header to go with this year. I just love what she has done for you. And your bathroom remodel will be wonderful. Glad to see others have nagging oops I mean discussion problems with their husbands. It made me laugh because it is so true of all of us.

Thanks again Kim for all you do for this delightful blogging community. You are a shining star my dear to all of us.

Hi Kim! If I were organized, I would have had my most recent project finished by Tuesday evening so that I could join your party in a timely manner. But I'm not organized, so here it is Thursday and I'm just now joining. But better late than never, I hope!

I also hope that your heat is now fixed and that you're warm and snug in your beautiful home. Happy new year to you!
