I bought this bull picture and it is what you see over the window when you enter the sunroom. I moved the clock back where it was since that is the direction I was used to looking at it from my chair. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks. My sister has one like this, but her bull faces the other direction. I need that one, too. Maybe I will sneak it home. Don't tell her. shhhhhhh
The bird pictures flew the coop and went back to the guest room and these sheep moved in. These are from the same store.
I saw these being sold as a set of four at my favorite antique mall for $140. What?! These are just a print stuck in a frame. Talk about mark up! I am sure I could have made these myself, but I only paid $16 for them so I just grabbed them.
I just love the worn chippy frames and the print that looks like it is mounted on burlap.
I added this rooster picture that I have had. It moved out of the powder room during the renovation. The frame was gold and I painted it with a coat of French Linen chalk paint and then brushed Old White chalk paint on the raised places.
Moved three of my vintage roe deer antler mounts in here. I am going to add more of these as I find them.
I placed my stone sheep on a small stack of vintage books to create this vignette on the table.
So the birds are gone and the livestock has moved in for the new look.
There is an exciting project being done this weekend. Our master bath is being painted by a professional painter and not me. Yay. This is the one room that we don't do ourselves. Of course, the mister couldn't now if he wanted to. All I need to do is decide on a color.
I love your stone sheep, Kim. I have always told my kids that a sheep is what I would really like to have as a pet...they think I'm crazy!! Have an awesome weekend!
ReplyDeleteooo I like the sheep in the frames. So cool that you got them for way less than the antique mall. Hope the Mr. gets better real soon.
ReplyDeleteStunning, Kim.
ReplyDeleteI love how the sheep look like the are mounted onto the burlap, good find! I'm anxious to see your sunroom all done:)
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy Kim!! Everything looks wonderful!! I love those burlap-y prints, and what you've done to that little frame with the rooster!!

Gotta love the livestock! Kinda looks like my crazy collection of bovines and sheep. LOL Mine are "penned" in the laundry room though.
ReplyDeleteWow, this room is looking better every time you update it...!! It makes me want to jump in my car and go look for livestock prints and antlers!!
ReplyDeleteLove it all, especially the new picture! So cute!
ReplyDeleteYour farm animal prints are darling! Of course, I love the antlers too. You must never sit still! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove the bull and the sheep prints, they are fantastic. Gorgeous in your sunroom. You really did good. Great finds. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLove the changes, Kim. Isn't it fun to have fresh scenery every so often? Enjoy your break from painting!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look! I like the livestock pictures alot. That bull picture is the one that I had in my hand at first, but then traded it for the one that I have now. The frame was a little warped. They may have replaced it before you went there though. I didn't know you were planning on repainting your master bath. That's so nice that you don't have to do it yourself. Looking forward to seeing it when it's done.
ReplyDeleteI love your new pictures...they are so beautiful! Your sunroom is looking fabulous :o) Can't wait to see your bathroom sporting a new color!!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat new additions Kim. So happy you hired a professional. I am waiting on one for our laundry room. I picked a color and now waiting on him.
ReplyDeleteLove the livestock!
ReplyDeleteThe sheep are so sweet and as I grew up around cows they are always welcome. You hired a painter? That must be restful for you after all that painting you do.
ReplyDeleteLove the additions! Good choices!
ReplyDeleteLorraine
All great additions to your home. I especially love the framed sheep.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sherry

I love livestock pics, and have many around the house. I've lately taken to old livestock engravings. I love how your sunroom looks, but I've loved every look it's had =)
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the frame of the rooster picture. It turned out great! I like it almost as much as your apple picture:)
ReplyDeleteIt all looks great Kim...but my fav is the rooster picture redo! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLovely! We are a wee bit farm crazy here, so of course the livestock are favourites of mine. Your sunroom is just so pretty, Kim.
ReplyDeleteKim, love the bull and that rooster in the that frame is awesome! Your vintage roe deer antler look wonderful, what an impressive look! Love how your creative mind works!
ReplyDeleteThose sheep are fabulous, looks like you had a very productive shopping trip.
ReplyDeleteOmgosh I am so jealous of your sheep...I adore sheep and am still counting down the days until the fencing is in place to bring home a flock of real ones too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Kelsie
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteThe sheep pics are wonderful...love the way they are mounted and the color of the frames. I always think it cannot get any better and then you do a little more fine tuning and prove me wrong all over again...so fun watching all of your creative energy play out. Have a great weekend a hope your husband is feeling fine again soon.

Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteLove the new added livestock!!
The sheep are beautiful and the frames are amazing!!
All the Best,
Christine
Thank God you can stop vacuuming up all that invisible bird food. You know it is much easier to sweep up invisible hay. Everything is loooking good, Kim. I like your new prints. I know about moving a clock, too, and then looking at where it USED to be 20 tines a day to see what time it is. lol Some things just aren't that easy to change! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt`s all looking very good - I love the sheep prints.
ReplyDeleteLucky you, to be getting your bathroom done too!
There must be a farm animal fever goin' around because I just bought a hanging wooden sheep for my dining room. Love your livestock!

I like your animal decor in there. I bet you love not having to paint and clean up the mess in your bathroom!
ReplyDeleteIt's all looking great. It's fun to change things up, once in a while.

Love your sheep pictures and what a great price! I went sheep shopping yesterday. All I found were bunnies, and not a sheep of any kind in sight.
ReplyDeleteYour vignette on the table is really nice and I still love that lamp. Have a great weekend.
I'd love to know why you hire the pro's for the master! Your painting looks pretty professional! Is Mr. Seeing a chiropractor? Hope he's better real soon!
