An Update

4.08.2012

Hope everyone is enjoying this Easter weekend. We have had picture perfect weather with our temps back to where they should be this time of year. Now it actually feels like spring.

It has been nine days since Mr. Savvy's back surgery and he is doing quite well.

His drop foot is still the same, but we were told that can take months to come back.

I can finally leave Mr. Savvy at home alone for awhile now so I spent most of Saturday with my daughter and Leila.

We went to two garden nurseries to purchase some bushes and flowers so they can do some work in their yard. The first nursery was extremely busy since they had such low prices.

It was a very nice day and good to have a break.
I want to thank y'all again for all the comments and emails still asking how he is doing.
Hopefully he will be able to return to work soon.

I didn't have to set a table or anything for Easter since we are very low key this year while the mister continues to heal. I saw these pretty tulips at the store the other day and decided they would be a nice addition in the dining room. First bunch of fresh flowers I have bought in a while.

Hope everyone has a very happy Easter.

  6. Beautiful tulips, Kim. Sometimes that is all you need for a holiday...fresh flowers.

Glad to hear MrS is recovering...drop foot is awful and it will take him a while to learn to deal with it. I hope that full use of the foot is restored soon, rather than later.

Blessings to all of you- we are off to church and brunch here soon- xo Diana
