After my dental appointment yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby to get some plate hangers and while there I decided to go to the antique mall which is in the same shopping center. Now, I have never found any ironstone at this one, but guess what? I did this time. Yes, the ironstone god is leading me to some vintage ironstone so I can replace my Home Goods faux ironstone pitchers with the real stuff. Not trying to bore y'all to death with my ironstone finds, but this is what I found.

Love the shape

Love finding sugar bowls, too.

Most of the pitchers were $7.50 each and one was $6. I paid the most for this vintage milk pitcher. It had been reduced from $42 to $29. This is by Lord Nelson Pottery England. I was afraid if I waited it would be gone. It has wonderful crazing.

I also bought a large buffalo china platter with a scalloped edge that I failed to take a picture of. I had already stuck it in the hutch and forgot about it.

Hope to see you tonight for Wow!!

  1. They are so pretty, Kim. I also love little creamers and sugar bowls. I guess because they are small enough to tuck into spots.

  26. Love all of your new pieces. I have that same sugar bowl (and matching creamer) that has the swirl designs on it. I don't feel the need to have to have REAL ironstone though. I'm not trying to collect. I just like the look. So I'm happy with my white pieces from Home Goods.
