Everything is struggling to survive in this heat. It is suppose to reach 110+ today in Phoenix. My car is in the shop...A/C went out yesterday. So, I'm staying home trying to stay cool and drinking lots of water. I so dislike this time of year. Thanks for sharing.
It's been 110 or higher here for several weeks, I am really tired of it. I need to get to the grocery store early and then home. Trying to work on my new dresser. Stay cool. Hugs, Marty
Really? I would be happy just to share that little blue pool with the puppy! But....I am actually more excited to be going to the flea market with my son. What? It's only going to be 97 degrees! At least one of the big buildings is air-conditioned. The word for today is.....WATER!
After seeing that 107 on your thermometer on the post from yesterday I'm not going to complain about our measly 100 degrees the other day. And I think we'll be in the 90's ... which is downright frigid compared to Georgia!
We are in the 90's and it is nasty!!! Not my favorite time of year, can't wait for Fall!!! For sure am staying in, keeping hydrated and doing laundry....I may end up like a wilted lily on the sofa watching soap operas and eating bon bons........xoxo
I watered front n back before 7 am. got groceries by 9 and vacummmed by 10:30.. now here I sit in the cool air with ice cold tea and I aint doin'; Nuffin else today lol..
I'll probably be staying in too - because it is pouring, thundering down rain. At some point I'll have to go out and renew the insurance on the miata, even though there's not been a single top-down ride this summer.
Inside where it is cool and on the computer. Went out long enough to photograph a necklace I just finished and could not get back in fast enough. Enjoy your weekend and stay cool.
I just love the dog in the pool, so cute, try to stay cool, its cool here today, we are sitting on the balcony watching the tug boat races, you need a sweater though,
Yep, this week has been a hot one, that is for sure. Summer is here!! We had several over 100 degree days this week but we cooled down yesterday to just a mere 99 degrees. The heat sure plays havoc on any outdoor painting jobs, I had to move my projects into the A/C to finish them.
Kim, It is going to be HOT here too.It has been this whole week.No cool weather in site. And when I say cool I mean 80.I can deal with that. But 100+ I can't.So we are staying in side and keeping cool. There are things I need to be doing. But I don't really feel like it LOL. (((Hugs))) Anne
I really need to be working on furniture but the garage is like an oven...it ain't happenin today...so I'm sitting and catching up on blogs! Yay!! Blessings, Lorraine
I worked out at Jazzercise (AC broken in the studio), went to the City Market to buy produce in the heat, worked in the garden for 15 minutes before feeling light-headed, made freezer jam, and we're making ice cream right now. Reading all the stuff I've done, I now think I might be kind of dumb. It's too hot to think, let alone act.
It is hot here too. I did a few projects and then decided to enjoy my afternoon alone. Hubby is golfing and the kids are at a mud bog. I broke out a bottle of wine and am enjoying my alone time:)
I'm catching up on your blog posts. Here in Va, we had a "derecho" Friday night. Scary. Lost power, headed to the basement to wait it out. Temps in the 100's. Some places still don't have power. But have power back now. Praise the Lord for air conditioning.
Hi, I am so glad you stopped by.
I love to decorate and create. Join me and my ever changing decor from painted furniture to painted walls. You just never know what will change next. You will also find me working in the yard, weather permitting.

That sounds like a plan ---- maybe I should work on cleaning out the office closet. There is A/C and a big fan in that room!
Hope the heat wave breaks soon! Enjoy your weekend!
I hear ya...time to stay indoors! That picture of the puppy with the ice cream cone is just precious.

I guess the "dog days of summer" means that you get to lay around like a lazy old hound and sleep...that's what Im going to do!
It's hot in NJ too! We are doing kid crafts today. Love the dog pics!
