Summer Master 2012

Time to remove the heavy blankets and lighten up for the hot months ahead. When I went to the Pottery Barn outlet a couple of weeks ago I came across some new pillow shams that I knew would be perfect in the master for a fresh summery look even though I wasn't really looking for new shams.

I flipped the long pillow, that says Bon Nuit on the other side, over to the solid side then placed my favorite pillow in front.

Moved this old wicker chair to the bedroom and added this blue linen pillow from PB outlet.

For those new here this is a piece we bought in Italy in 2000. It is entirely made of inlaid wood. I then took an old frame and painted it then attached a piece of burlap to it, hung it and added the art to the front for a very easy project.

 I removed the heavy blue comforter off the foot of the bed and just added the two new floral shams. I already had everything else. I also put the little bench that was at the end of the bed back in the bathroom. I am on the hunt for the perfect bench for the foot of the bed. You can view the before here.
