I thought we would stroll down memory lane of the many looks my sun room has gone through in the last two years. Some looks were just seasonal changes and then the room was made over this year.
Many of the pictures were taken before I got my new camera so the photos are not that great. Pretty good for a point and shoot though.

This was June of 2010 with the summer look and some new flea market finds.
This was the fall look with the change of the slipcover on the sofa that I found on ebay. Bailey is in her favorite spot and it still is.
Then there was Christmas of 2010 with this picture taken at night and it is crooked. Glad my editing has improved.

Then I painted and lightened up the room a few months ago, but it still wasn't quite right to me.
I took out the old floral chairs for an updated look with first this chair and then I bought another.
This was the last thing I shared with y'all after I got the other chair and switched out the table.
The whole room will be shared very soon.

Fun post. I hope you kept those two club chairs for another room. They look comfy and if you wanted to have new slipcovers made, that could be an update too. I also loved seeing the holiday pics again. Love how you even change out the plates on the wall for the season. Cool.

Oh Kim I LOVE your home! I've seen lots of it already when you've shared bits before but it was so nice to see it in one fell swoop! I didn't know you and your husband worked on the building of the home like we did so that was VERY interesting! I love your decorating style and use of color. It's always obvious when someone actually LOVES their home and is not just decorating to check a room off their list. A home is always growing and changing and that shows love.....the difference between a house and a home!

I like the light and current version best, because you still have color its just more in the accents. You might not be ready to change it for a long time now!

Kim, I know this is the last thing you want to hear. But I miss that room two years ago. The green was perfect to me. I know one must always update. And the new room is beautiful. (Especially those chairs.) But to me that was timeless...

Your sunroom is one of my very favorite rooms...I loved seeing it evolve over time....It was beautiful at the beginning and beautiful with the new facelift of the lighter colors....Such a great room...!
