I shared some photos of the details of this French vaisselier in a separate post so this post wouldn't be too awfully long. I know y'all are wanting to see it in my home and how I decorated it and I want you to see it, too. I have been wanting to find a piece like this for my sitting room and they were always either way over what I could afford or I would wait and go back to the antique mall and the piece would be gone. Well, finally it all worked out and this is the piece that was meant to be.

This was okay for many years, but I sure love the new piece a whole lot more.
The blacksmith sign did not even have to be moved. It is on the wall. I know it looks like it is resting on the vaisselier. I had a time trying to figure out what to put on top, but think this is good.
I basically used a lot of what I had in the old bookcase since I did collect all these things for this room.

I first had this little dog next to the trophy.
Then I decided to use my old clock and I love hearing it tick.

Pictures really don't do this justice. I wish you could stand in the room and see it. Mr. Savvy and I occasionally walk in here just to look at it.

You are so right, pictures do not do it justice...it is so "magnifique" in person!!...but then again, if I had not been fortunate enough to see this in person, the photos you took are stunning....I think if that piece were in my home, I would also walk by it all day long admiring it, passing my hand over that gorgeous wood....I know that this vaisselier was meant to be in your room...and the beautiful little girl "Eclair" so proudly approves!

Oh Kim, it truly is GORGEOUS!!! I want to sit here and just look at it. Right now they are installing the carpet runner on our steps and I am hating it right now and don't even want to look at it. I do not have to tell you, but this is one of the prettiest pieces I have seen in a very long time. I would not have known the name, but whatever beautiful is in french is what I would have called it. I can't imagine a more perfect piece, and I totally understand why you would walk in and just gaze upon it. LOL By the way, did you add the wallpaper in the back. If so, perfect pattern.
