A Homespun Christmas/Vignettes and Mantels Party

I can't believe it is already the first of December and time to get this party started. I am thrilled to be kicking it off with vignettes and mantels. Just a few days ago I was drowning in Christmas bins and boxes everywhere. I didn't even use a third of that stuff. I think it is time to start cleaning out.

I am going to start with the vignette I created on the antique chest in this little hallway and on the plate shelf. My mantel is really very basic this year and I will share it soon.

I used everything I had on hand except I bought a few new very cheap basic bottle brush trees. The larger ones are vintage that I purchased last year.

I used these little figures from days gone by last year on my mantel and thought they would be fun to use in a different setting this year. A little batting for snow and we have a winter wonderland. Well, almost.

I bought this little lighted house years ago and can't believe the light bulb hasn't burned out yet.

I just added vintage and new bottle brush trees among the ironstone on the plate shelf.

You are more than welcome to display this button, but it does not have a code box so you will need to add a link, too. Thanks.

Thanks for joining the party and be sure and join the rest of these fabulous hostesses.
December 7th: Cedar Hill Ranch for handmade holidays
December 9th: On Sutton Place for doors and wreaths
December 14th: Stone Gable for recipes and tablescapes

Now it's time for you to show off your mantels and Christmas vignettes.

Please be sure and add a link to this party to your post.
Take time to visit a few of the other links. I bet there will be lots of inspiration.

Please only link mantels and vignettes.

Thanks for hosting, Kim. After a full day of cleaning floors and decorating I am glad to sit back and visit lots of links. The majority of our Christmas decor is finished, but I ran out of daylight for the rest of the photos. I shared some vignettes that are throughout our home in the Homespun Christmas party today.

I want to put them in my living room. Even though I am pretty much finished decorating I have not been able to find that container. Guess I'll give it one more look see tomorrow.
