Christmas Breakfast Table

I shared the dining room decked for Christmas last week and of course I had to play in the breakfast room, too. This room is done in traditional red and green. This is a casual setting for a family Christmas breakfast.

I filled this old tool box with burlap and ornaments for the centerpiece.

I used mix of plaid patterns with the runner from HomeGoods and the plates that I already had. The settings at each end of the table are a tad different from the other four.

These napkins are from Pottery Barn.

More leftover ornaments are tied to the chandelier with red and white twine.

Not sure what is on the menu yet, but better figure it out soon and go buy groceries.

It's almost here. Are you ready?

Very pretty, Kim! I have to think what I am doing for my Christmas breakfast table. I love it because my husband cooks breakfast that day (the only day of the year!) so I can concentrate on having fun with the kids! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I am planning a Christmas breakfast too! We are not hosting dinner this year and as a surprise to my husband and daughter I decided to make stuffed french toast.I am using a recipe that is like cheese cake.My husband had it at a restaurant and raved about it.So I thought I would try and make it.I am topping mine off with cinnamon apples.I'll let you know how it turned out!

I'm as ready as I'll ever be, Kim. : ) Your table looks great. Love the dishes. Your tote looks great filled with ornaments and burlap. I'm either doing french toast or some kind of eggs for Christmas morning. Not sure which yet; I guess we'll take a vote. I see you bought those glasses from Kroger. I wondered as I just bought two yesterday that look just like them. What a great buy.

So much fun!
Your table and chairs look similar to mine, and I need 2 more chairs, is there a chance you might be able to tell me about yours and where I might be able to find some? My table and chairs are almost 20 years old, I knew I should have purchased 8 chairs, but my hubby didn't agree. . . so now I am looking for 2 more!
Love your table setting, Love your chandelier and love the beautiful Christmas feel of your dining area!
Hearts to you,
Betsy

I also do a Christmas morning breakfast. You've inspired me to get moving and set a lovely table. I've been focused on a family party last night, dinner today, and a party tomorrow evening, that I've hardly had time to think about our breakfast.
