Decking the Foyer

I shared the front entry and figured next stop should be the foyer. I have not had an easy time decorating this year. I told y'all I had to tweak the mantel more than once and now the foyer vignette has been giving me the same fit. I have completely changed what I first had here, but think I finally have a look I like. It blends well with the rest of the home now. After all the first thing your guests see is the entry.

I love these frosted pine cones I found the other day at the antique mall. I pulled out this old Southern Living at Home bowl from my stash in the forbidden hoarder's room and placed it on two vintage books.

At first I had some Santas on this chest and my Santa face hanging on the mirror, but when I changed everything I hung this little twig wreath to better blend with the greenery and pine cones.

I decided to use the same Ballards lantern I had here last Christmas. There is just something about lanterns and holiday decorating that goes together.

This little fella is a candle holder so I left him here to add some flickering light at night.

This felt stocking that I bought last year hangs at the bottom of the stairs.

I got this huge grapevine angel at the antique mall with plans to use it in a different spot, but it is too big for that place so it welcomes guests at the door.

I have so much more Christmas decor to share.
Hope you aren't tired of it all yet.

Have a super week.

It all works very well together, Kim. Love it. I wish I had a forbidden hoarder's room. I am running out of cupboards and closets.

So pretty Kim.
Forbidden hoarders room?? I think I want one of them. Storage space is limited here... Even with my creative storing ideas, I am running out :-)
Cheers, Gee

I'm not tired of it at all! Your foyer looks beautiful! I love the angel! I have been having trouble this year too. I'm kind of getting sick of decorating, but ironically I keep coming up with ideas for next year. I need to write them down somewhere!

Now I'm thinking I need to tweak my foyer??? Love what you have done with the fresh greenery. I am trying to focus on using more fresh greenery, live plants and not all the faux "stuff" with some exception. Trying not to decorate every nook and cranny of my home, less is more theory. It's more appealing. I always enjoy visiting your blog.
