I knew the quilt would work well with all the colors and other patterns in the room. The left pic is the new quilt against the bed skirt and the right pic is the chair and ottoman that is in the room. All the colors work well together.
I also swapped benches with this one that was in the sun room.
The quilt and colors of the cow painting even work together.
I had moved the pheasant pillow from the great room to our room when the Christmas decorations were up and I love how the colors work so well in here so it is staying for a while. I need to find another one.
Added a vintage throw to curl up in while sitting in this chair.
This is another painting that kind of got placed here during Christmas and ended up staying.
Family photos adorn the bed side chest.
I just love how the colors in the quilt have all the colors of other rooms in the house. It's good for the rooms to flow together.
Have a super week!

VERY cozy and beautiful!! Love that quilt! blessings ~ tanna
It all looks so inviting, Kim. Have a nice week...
It all looks just beautiful Kim!
Just a question - do you sit in that chair?
I only ask because I create inviting little " niches " and then don't use them ( because I don't want to mess them up lol )
One of my many many disorders!

Very beautiful Kim, there's nothing that I don't like about that room! Have a great week.
What a lucky find! It looks great in your bedroom, as do all the other little finds you have in there. Warm, cozy, and inviting. Thanks for sharing it with us!

I love the way that you mixed the different patterns. Your buffalo check bed skirt and reading chair are fabulous! The overall look is warm and inviting and it makes me want to curl up there for some reading and a nap! I wish that there was a PB outlet near my home, I'm in the market for a new "winter" quilt! xo, Kimberly
Very pretty Kim! Wish we had a PB outlet near us.

Kim, the quilt is a great addition for the winter months. I had admired it in the fall catalog. We have a PB outlet in SC and I'm hoping to make a day trip there soon. You are so incredibly good at mixing colors and patterns to achieve a warm, cozy look!
Looks great, Kim. I've always loved your pheasant pillow. The goat painting is wonderful, too.

Beautiful pattern, Kim! I love the colors in it, too. It does warm up the room a bit, too, although I love your bedroom "as is". Love how you have room on your side chest to have all your family photos.
I love the new quilt you've chosen for your Master. The colors are rich and so inviting! It truly coordinates well with all the details of your bedroom. Fondly, Susie
That is fabulous! I absolutely love your room. I have been looking for inspiration to get our room completed and I believe you have provided that in spades! Can I ask what colour is on your walls? It makes the room so cozy.
Your quilt is really charming! I like it in there with the paintings too. It does help your master flow better with your great room having more color in there. That quilt would work fine in the Spring and Summer months too I think.
Such a beautiful room. I love the colors and patterns - and I am IN love with your cow picture. The quilt was a great addition.
Love your quilt. I always look forward to your next blog posts. Not long ago I started a blog with my decorating style. You are an inspiration for me . My husband and I are renovating an old flour mill which is 158 years old. We plan to make it into our home. We had just finished renovating an old railroad depot which we are living in until our mill is finished. If you would like to take a sneak peek you can go to www.littleputtylittlepaint.blogspot.com
Kim,
I love your quilt and the bedskirt. The pillow on the chair is just beautiful. Love the room.
Cynthia
The quilt looks great, and many of us are envious of the Pottery Barn outlet you have close to shop at. I haven't even been into a regular Pottery Barn in a year, it's only an hour away but my computer is seconds closer.

Everything is absolutely beautiful!!
Kim, I love it!! It really does look warm and inviting! I love a comfy looking bed!! Great choice of adding the touch of brown, that set the whole thing off to a lovely, warm and welcoming room. Happy Monday,
Kathysue
Your bedroom looks so warm and comfortable! Love the new comforter. The best part of winter is curling up in a warm, comfy bed when it's cold outside.Looking forward to getting back to cooler temps this week.
Love that mix Kim. Oh how I wish we had a PB outlet.
Looks wonderful Kim! Wish we had a PB outlet nearby. Maybe soon. There are two outlet malls under construction to open this coming summer...not far from home:-) Don't know if there will be a PB outlet, but hope so.
Cosy, indeed. I'd love to curl up in that chair with a good book. I'm going to have to investigate PB the next time I'm south of the border.
Oh Kim! This is a winner...my new favorite look for this room!
I swear you have missed your calling. You should be a magazine stylist. You have such a way with getting things to look just perfect. The quilt is fabulous!
Love the quilt. Wish we had a Pottery Barn Outlet here....

Kim, that did the trick.... Nice and cozy!
*** Kim, when I look waaay back into your blog, it shows how much you've "grown" and come sooo far (and I don't mean to sound like a "know-it-all"!!!)... you've just developed such a wonderful, "all-my-own" personal, FABULOUS style.. KUDOS, KIDDO!
BTW, can you tell me who made your brown velvet pillow? (I just love it, and bought a few yards of some quite a while back, waiting to find someone to monogram it...). Sure would appreciate the info!
Blessings to you in 2013, and thank you for a wonderful year in 2012, with your gr888 blogs!!!
Warmly,

I am in the process of moving things around in my bedroom too - why is that room the most difficult to decorate?!
Kelly

The quilt looks so warm and cozy! I love adding quilts to a bed during the winter. It makes the room look so much more inviting and comfortable! I came across some wonderful coverlets/quilts from Peacock Alley that I would love to buy for my own bed.
