Yellow

3.23.2013

Yellow is such a happy color and I have added a bit more of it on a whim in the dining room. It is a gray and very rainy day and adding yellow is like adding a bit of sunshine. I just switched out a few things on this tray in the dining room for some yellow items.

Gasp! Fake flowers! Call the fake flower police if you want to. I like mixing fake and real and it saves money since I have no real flowers in my yard to use.

I had to add my stone bunny, too.

I love these bee bowls I found at Williams Sonoma Outlet.

I swapped out the dark blue crock for this vintage enamelware coffee pot.

If it is gray where you are I hope I just added a bit of sunshine.

Happy Saturday!

  13. I'm not big on yellow but I do love using plants and flowers to add a "sunny" feeling. I use alot of live plants and things like moss, etc. to add to the feel. I use plants and fresh flowers years round.

Funny thing re: flowers - my Christmas cactus has been sporting a few blooms the past couple of weeks! LOL
