My Favorite Antique Mall Is Celebrating

6.23.2013

I have shared many of my favorite antique finds with y'all over the past couple years and most of them come from one local antique mall, The Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta. The QOH has recently been working to meet and work with local bloggers. They opened there door early a few months ago for bloggers to come shop and have breakfast one Sunday morning before the doors opened to the public. I was unable to attend since I was at the High Point Furniture Market. I hope to attend the next event. I need to add myself to their waiting list to for a space so I can clean out my hoarding room. :)

Here are a few things that I have found on some of my shopping trips there. I didn't realize how much I have purchased there till I started putting this post together.

This antique French vassilier is absolutely my largest and most favorite find from there. And btw, this room doesn't look like this anymore and I will share it soon. Waiting on an order to come in to complete it.

All the pictures on this gallery wall except the two dogs.

Beautiful large dog painting and the vintage Ethan Allen sconces.

Vintage bee skep.

Lamp and cow picture.

Olive jars.

East Lake vintage chest.

Another vintage lamp with this wonderful brass base.

Vintage market basket and I added the numbers.

Another vintage basket. Yes, I have a thing for baskets.

My most recent find is this mirror. I know there is even more I have bought there and all were at fabulous prices or I would not have purchased them.

Now, to the point of this post:
The Queen Of Hearts is celebrating a milestone this year. They have been open for 15 years and  asked if I would share the news with my readers. I'm not sure how many local readers I have, but if you have not visited the QOH you will love it.

They are celebrating this anniversary by giving away fifteen $100 gift certificates to shop their store and here is a lists of what you need to do to be in the drawing. They are handing out sheets at the store to be filled out as you accomplish these things.

  1. Kim, I was so excited by the QOH store at Buford,Ga. I could have stayed all day. The vintage Hollywood section was stunning and I learned that one of my former students has a booth there.

I live in south Ga. but I am certainly going again sometime. It is a collector's paradise.

  3. Wish I lived closer and could go give it a look. No wonder you love it, you have scored some really good finds there. I'm not very good at shopping. I walk in the front doors of our (pretty large) antique mall and am immediately overwhelmed. I don't know where to start, and forget what I went in there for. Hubby is much better at it than I. Wish I had a pocket-sized Kim to take along with me to help me out! Is there an app for that, do you think? ;)

  6. Kim, please share where you purchased the coverlet and shams shown in the picture of your bedroom with the new mirror above the bed. I have been looking for something exactly like that with no luck. Thanks!

  14. Your home is beautiful Kim!! So smart to add the numbers to your old basket. I think I'll do that... after I move. My old baskets are in storage right now because horror of horrors, my realtor said my house was too crowded for listing it. So I had to move things to storage.. the nerve really. Okay I'm just kidding, my house was a bit overstuffed. Yours looks perfect though!!

  17. I've never been to the Alpharetta QoH, which I believe is the flagship (perhaps in this case, the mother ship), but I love the new one in Marietta. We are moving soon, so when I get in my new house, a-shopping will I go to the Alpharetta store!
