Christmas 2012

12.01.2013

While I am knee deep in this year's Christmas decor I thought I would share last year's Christmas tour with y'all for those who missed it. I decorated simpler last year and this year will probably be even less. Seems as we get older and the kids are gone we just don't want to put out as much.

I have shared our home decorated for Christmas room by room and now I just wanted to put some photos together in one post so I will have it to look back on. I have enjoyed touring everyone's beautiful homes this year. So much creativity and inspiration out there.

Decorating has been done, the house is clean as it is going to get, the baking is done, a pot roast will be cooked for Sunday supper and now we just wait for our family to arrive Sunday afternoon. I still have two dishes to prepare to take to my sister's on Christmas eve. I always look forward to our family time together and can't wait to see my sister's home decorated in person.

Enjoy time with your family and friends this joyous season and have a very Merry Christmas.

  1. Oh, such pretty, pretty photos and I love seeing all of them together. I have never really used much live greenery in my house. I always feel that it might ruin my furniture. However, seeing how gorgeous yours is, it makes me want to rush out and starting cutting bushes and trees, right now!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

  7. I love that every room has touches of Christmas. How clever to hang the snowflakes around the mirror. Can't wait to see how you do it up this year!

  8. I have been reading your blog for a long time, but I did not remember the snowflakes on the dark wall in your bedroom. Lovely!

  9. You have a Special Gift, Kim. I'm sure I'm not the first to confirm that fact.
However, I just want to say thank-you for sharing it with me.
    Regards,
