My Favorite Room.....Jennifer Rizzo

Hi everyone, I am Jen Rizzo from I can't wait to tell you about my favorite room!! I want to thank Kim for having me here today!
My favorite room now is my kitchen, but it never used to be!
When we moved into our house, it was a very dark and dated room with dark oak cabinets.

A burst pipe changed all of that and we used the opportunity to make it the way we really wanted. Light and bright! In fact, it was featured
in Country Living magazine when we first did it.

I love that the white makes it so I can easily change between seasons. Like Fall.

I still love my butcher block counter tops. It's been 3 years this month and I would do them all over again.
I love how they have held up and darkened slightly with time.

And I am glad I put a towel bar under my sink. Best.Decision. Ever.

I love that the littlest things can make a difference.

Out kitchen light was a revamped thrift store light.

and we removed cabinets to add the hutch which is my favorite thing in my kitchen.
