I truly am having trouble believing it is December and that Christmas is just around the corner, but since it is I have added Christmas cheer around the house and the first room I'm sharing is my favorite one, the sunroom.
I'm going to share a lot of pictures and not say a lot. I really have kept things pretty simple this year. The older I get the less I want to put out. You will also notice some changes in this room. I told y'all there has been some swapping around going on. So sit back get something to drink and enjoy.
You can visit how I decorated this tree last year and the sunroom in 2012 here. I love the small grain sack stockings that I purchased last year.
My good blogging friends, Shirley and Kristen brought me this huge reproduction column base when they stayed here back in October for the Country Living Fair. It makes the perfect platform for my vintage sleigh.
Yes, that is fog outside. Never ending fog.
I made this stocking garland with the larger grain sack stockings from On Sutton Place and a piece of Christmas ribbon.
Switched pillows out for more deep reds and I love these old quilted Pottery Barn covers.
I bought this Pottery Barn Christmas tree pillow at the outlet recently.
I love my new stocking from Ann of Sutton Place Designs. She does fabulous work and of course I had to have this red ticking stocking. I have also ordered a cute pillow cover.
Thanks for touring here and this is just a start to my hall decking so stay tuned for more.
Be sure to come back here tomorrow for a guest blogger's beautiful Christmas decorated favorite room.
Everything looks so beautiful!! I love your cute tree, and all your gorgeous pillows.I would love to be sitting in there right now.

ReplyDeleteLove it, you have a true gift! and that demi-john lamp is making me swoon....
ReplyDeleteKim, everything is just beautiful. I like you don't decorate like I used too, it is just to much when the kids aren't around to care anymore. Your space looks so bright and festive:)
ReplyDeleteThat Sunroom NEVER disappoints! It is always such a great space. Not a great week for picture taking but your photos look so great! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your vintage simplicity and pops of red in the sunroom. My favorite vignette is the Santa sleigh on the base and the adorable snow globe that you made. I have the same holiday ribbon that you used for your mini stocking garland. I've been looking at PB holiday pillows lately, too. I wish I had an outlet close by!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Kim…love the changes and I notice that chair found a new home:)
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of it all, Kim. xo Laura

ReplyDeleteThat's the prettiest room ever! I don't remember that chair over to the right with mixed fabrics. It's so pretty in there. Just found out we have a Pottery Barn outlet here in Texas about 20 minutes from my Dad's house. How have I been missing out on that? Thanks for your amazing inspiration.

I love your tree in the orchard basket and your pops of red everywhere!
ReplyDeleteKim, I am dying how your table tree is perfectly matched to the print on the occasional chair. This is so perfect and welcoming. I could not agree more about not wanting to put out everything. We are about 3 weeks away from next year....YIKES! Where is the time going?
ReplyDeleteKim, this room is my favorite in your house! It's so pretty with all the light and the beadboard, and so festive and cheerful dressed up for Christmas! Thank you for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteYour sunroom looks so bright and festive, Kim! Love the orchard basket holding hour tree, and the snow globe is another favorite.

Kim, your sun room looks cheerful and bright. Love the touches of holiday that you've added to this room. I pinned a few from this post as well as the sunroom from last year. ;-)
ReplyDeleteKim- love the changes to your sunroom and your Christmas décor -- especially the orchard basket for the table top tree... lo0ks amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like best about it is that it is simple, yet very festive at the same time. The touches are small, and make you want to get up close and study the details. I just love the tree in the basket; the tree pillow from PB is adorable, as is the stocking garland. I think you've Decked The Hall perfectly! We had tons of fog here all day, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you for featuring the items from my shop. They look absolutely right at home in the sunroom. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great, Kim. I love Ann's work-she does a fabulous job. You are decking your halls quite nicely. I wanted to deck someone here the other day when I wanted to get some things done and had no help...oh...wait...that is a different kind of decking! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteKim your sunroom is gorgeous any time of year but it looks so fabulous all dressed up for Christmas!! I love the little tree in the orchard basket. Everything is beautiful!

Love this room as always, Kim. The touches of red are so cheerful. I think the snow globe you made is my favorite thing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Kim! I have never been to a Pottery Barn outlet. Sounds like I've been missing out! I would love to go antiquing in your "neck of the woods" sometime.
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty!
ReplyDeleteKim, your sunroom looks wonderful! I love how you used the orchard basket instead of a tree skirt.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love all of your cute little snowmen and the tree stand :-) Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, Ok I'll chime in and agree with everyone's lovely compliments - it's one of my favorite rooms too. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteKim, I love to see your sunroom during all the seasons, but it really shines at Christmas. I adore that vintage Santa in his sleigh on that wonderful column that displays it so beautifully! But my heart was stolen by that snowman with the red checked mittens standing on that red base! Where, or where did you find him!
ReplyDeleteI love that new chair! It looks so pretty in your beautiful sunroom. I love it all and if you EVER want to sell that vintage sleigh and reindeer PLEASE let me know. I LOOOOOOOOOVe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe thing I like so much about your decorating is how creative and clever you are changing it and creating a whole new look. Your Christmas accessories have so much personality (Santa and Sleigh~ Snowman) and are one of a kind. Your Christmas pillows are so pretty. Be glad you are finished decorating and you can enjoy the holidays. I am still dragging things out.
ReplyDeleteKim, your sunroom looks incredible as always! So bright and cheerful! I love how you used the column base too :)
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy seeing your sun room, Kim. Love all the red and white stockings!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite rooms Kim! Love all of your beautiful touches!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late but I love all the table top trees!! You've given me so much inspiration to decorate this year 2015. This year instead of trying to fit my big tree in, I'm definitely using a table top. I loved this feature! Can't wait to see what you do this year!!
