Tis The Season

12.23.2013

This weekend I finally got all the presents wrapped. It took me all day long. I bought some plain red craft paper and some stamps to embellish it with.

Of course I had to have a deer stamp, too and added it to plain craft paper.

It rained all weekend and is still gloomy out, but we have cold crisp air coming just in time for Christmas.

I also prepared the dessert bar for Christmas eve. I decided to set it up on the buffet in the foyer.

There will be cookies, key lime pie on the cake plate, and brownies with peppermint ice cream.

I also hung fresh cedar garland on the stairs that finally arrived on Saturday.

So now it is on to cleaning the house and making two pots of chili, white and red.

In case you missed my cookie post yesterday and the announcement I have decided to cancel Wow Us Wednesdays this week. Everyone is busy preparing for the holiday and I want you to just enjoy this time with your family and friends. We will party next week, but on Monday night, sharing your 2013 projects.

Have a wonderful day!

  1. What a fabulous idea to serve dessert in the foyer! That way everyone can move around the house and not get bottlenecked in the kitchen! LOVE your baskets of gifts! Merry Christmas, dear Kim!
